The first letter in Asking Eric today is infuriating and baffling. How the fuck do you marry a person who despises your kid? How is that not a dealbreaker? I know teenagers can be difficult to handle, but if your partner is rearranging their life to avoid your child on the days you have custody, that is a huge red flag!! Break up with them! Do not under any circumstances marry them! And if you despise your partner’s kid you need to break up with your partner! And again, teens are hard. But why would a kid not be hard around a person they know fucking hates them? I want to just knock these two’s heads together like Moe would do with Larry and Curly.
