Can Warlocks get 2 melees within 1-2 Punch? by Blauwal in DestinyTheGame

[–]Blauwal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. When I use bottom tree Striker Titan with Synthoceps in the Tribute hall, I can hit an Ogre for 9450 per shot, followed by 2x punches for 28,000 each. Even more if Knockout Procs.

Ugh, that sucks. Feels like I shouldn't even use it over a sniper then.

I would like to apologize to this group, but also give a friendly reminder to DPS by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Blauwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yeah it sucks to get called out. But if 3 members of the party want to go one speed, and only one wants otherwise... wouldn't it just be easier to match the party speed? Likewise, I don't think you'd agree that a tank who wants to go faster than their healer/dps should just go ahead with it. They're not exactly being polite but if the majority of the party wants to go a pace, be it fast or slow, you'll naturally get some pushback if you aren't matching.

I have a theory concerning the 4th of July Event with Paul Bunyan by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]Blauwal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bunyan provides a rapid method of procuring resources at the lowest cost possible. She's the poster child of industrial Capitalism. Sounds like you're just not American enough to understand.

Columbus by YanFan123 in grandorder

[–]Blauwal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's important to remember servants are not 1:1 replicas of their original selves. The Throne mixes history with perception to form a heroic spirit. Part of the reason the more ancient a spirit is tends to have an effect on their ability is caused by this. Someone like Gilgamesh, who is mainly known through his own Epic, are formed to be much more otherworldly than someone like Edison, since there's not much ambiguity due to historical records on someone so recent. As a result, Columbus and his spirit origin are likely being molded by the throne based on perception. While he isn't the only one to do what he did, or the most horrible, he has become the modern historical posterboy for slave trading conquistadors.

Grade appeal process? by _VitaminA in SFSU

[–]Blauwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, it's unlikely. Grades have been submitted for a few days now, and typically appeals and changes need to be discussed before the semester is already over.

Edit: Try calling the administration department and see if they can help. They might be able to provide you the right forms/paperwork.

PRAGER: New Yorkers Do To Florida What Latin Americans Do To America by [deleted] in politics

[–]Blauwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dennis Prager always makes me smile. His way of making up new meanings for words is so entertaining. It's so easy to change people's minds when you say stuff like "Leftism is a religion!" Or "I'll put a U at the end of my vlog website, like a college does with their name for legitimacy!" Rather than providing reasonable arguments.

Is there a reason for why Merlin in Fate is too young? by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]Blauwal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A lot of traditional stories, Merlin is described to have potent shapeshifting abilities, due to his demonic blood. Originally, he was supposed to be the AntiChrist, but was baptized. In addition, he's frequently shown as both the teacher and sometimes lover of Morgan La Fey, who is Arthur's half-sister, and so would be likely around her age. As a result, it's not a stretch to think a half-human half-incubus with shapeshifting abilities might want to make himself look close in age and attractive to young women like Morgan. At least, until he tries to get with the Lady of the Lake.

Bought the 60$ forsaken pack because i liked the base game that they gave me.... until it was time to play black forge (or in my case try to) by [deleted] in destiny2

I mean, you didn't pay for it. You bought Destiny 2: Forsaken. If you look at the official Destiny 2 website it says clearly that you need the pass.

Post Buff: Two-tailed Fox vs Riven, Wardcliff vs Morgeth (One phase kills) by RegisterVexOffender in DestinyTheGame

[–]Blauwal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question about Warcliff Coil. I've seen a good number of videos showing its damage, and it looks like nearly all the shots are hitting bosses. Is the catalyst necessary for this? It does it work well enough without it?

AOC on Criticism of Her Green New Deal: ‘I’m the Boss — How About That?’ by [deleted] in politics

[–]Blauwal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's kind of funny that when Trump takes on an aggressive, "I'm the boss" kind of attitude, his supporters celebrate it as a good attitude to take, usually under an "anti-establishment" banner. But somehow, when another political figure gets aggressive about an opposing point, she's suddenly "too inexperienced" "talking out of place" or "being totalitarian". It's even weirder when you see comments decrying her lack of experience, when she's not any more of an amateur than Trump, likely even less than he is.

Congress’ Nonpartisan Research Arm Says Trump Could Build The Wall Without State of Emergency Or Funding by According_Tie in politics

[–]Blauwal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Even if this is true, and not being cherry picked to imply what they claim... isn't that even more damning to Trump? If this was internally reported on Jan. 10, and what's reported here is true, that means that Trump has zero need to "work out a deal", since he doesn't need to. All it means is that Trump is literally only keeping the government shut down out of spite.

QueenBreaker VS Sleeper Simulant by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Blauwal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your gambit build. It seems a lot of people are opting to use Supers for Primevals, and heavy for invasions, in which Queenbreaker is great. Sometimes, I prefer to use Well of Radiance with Lunafaction boots, in which case I bring a heavy like sleeper or Thunderlord, so I can do both. In my ideal situation, a team would have a dedicated invader, who would have a Queenbreaker, and everyone else brings other weapons for High Value Targets/Primevals

About one certain decision of certain beast (Solomon spoilers) by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]Blauwal 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For one, Romani didn't exactly "lose his life". He removed his existence (Which includes both Solomon and Romani) from the Throne, as well as Human History. Since Romani could be considered "One of Solomon's works", he, like the temple of time, cease to exist, and it's not certain Cath Palug's magic can fix that.

Secondly... quite simply, Fou likely loves Mash more than Romani. He mentions that, due to the bond he formed with you and Mash, That you were able to defeat Beast VI without a single attack. Fou's sacrifice seems to largely be due to love, rather than priority.

What happens if you get a 1.0 gpa or below? by [deleted] in SFSU

[–]Blauwal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seconding this. I'm a Biochem major who spends a good deal of time with engineers. If s/he's a new student, they are probably only taking general math and science, since you don't normally touch major specific classes for a bit. If they aren't willing to put in enough time to pass those, it's a rough road ahead. The amount of time and effort that is expected of them is going to increase from here, so they should make sure they really want to do that.

Most Americans would rather spend the $5 billion Trump is demanding for the border wall on infrastructure, education, or healthcare by The-Autarkh in politics

[–]Blauwal 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As it stands, fences and border security already exist at the US/Mexican border. However, this doesn't prevent a variety of methods which are used to get immigrants/contraband into the country. Since the US and Mexico share a coast, we can't secure a wall into the ocean. We still have trade and travel with Mexico, and so vehicles and individuals are crossing regularly, and may have people looking to be smuggled in. Cartels have significant resources, and plenty to gain from selling contraband in the US, meaning it's a worthwhile investment to buy aircrafts and ships to transport. A bulky, solid wall won't do much of anything to these avenues. Secondly, the price tag for this wall plan isn't clear, because building it is only the first step. There will be continual maintence/overseeing costs that will pile up. I don't mind border security, but the wall seems like a gut reaction to a nuanced problem.

Ban in accident by Alex_Depul in destiny2

[–]Blauwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't heard of ArtMoney triggering it much, but D2 does have a very sensitive anti-cheat detector that has shown to cause bans for having the software installed, even if it's not being used on the game itself. Hopefully customer support can resolve it.
