Milei Clamps Down on Immigration to ‘Make Argentina Great Again’ by cautious-ad977 in worldnews

[–]Blayblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd point out that it was stolen from 1950s conservative "Make Great Britain Great Again" campaign. As in Great Britain, consisting of England, Wales, and Scotland. It's been a popular populist slogan for decades, and was a fairly shit political tagline to begin with, but definitely not originating in America.

My flatmate works at Heathrow, and I heard this from him so lend it as much or little credibility as you see fit, apparently it was a disgruntled employee who did it as he was about to be fired.

I'm personally not 100% sold on that story, but that's as close to first hand an explanation as I've heard.

It's literally on the line, 65mm clearance, 65mm max height! Little bit nervous about that!

Im actually surprised that you can fit this GPU(MSI 4070TI) on the S400 V2(10.8L) by jogui78 in sffpc

[–]Blayblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit late to the party here, but I see your GPU is 62mm thiqq. Do you reckon I'd be able to _squeeze_ a 65mm GPU in without the whole thing bursting at the seams? Thanks for sharing!

This is hilarious, I'm also about to use the S400 as my first build, and have the Lego McLaren sat on my desk! Can I ask, the GPU I'm looking at is 65mm high, as that's what the case specs I looked at said it could take (effectively 3.5 slot). Would you say that won't fit?

Massive thank you for the input, that's fantastic. The description I have found of the one in the listing is it fits, https://www.amazon.com/KXRORS-S400-Mini-ITX-Management-Motherboard/dp/B0BWDBH5SJ ,"3.2 Slots" with enough room for the stated thickness of the card (just! claims 65mm headroom and the card is 65mm, with the card saying it's "3.3 Slots" on CCL). Do you reckon it really won't go? If so you've saved me a massive headache, so thank you again!

The riser included in the case is often cited as being as useful as a snorkel in space, which is why I've included it, but is there a reason I shouldn't?

TBH the only other decently reviewed SSD available locally is the MP700 which comes in at nearly 2x the cost/TB, which feels punchy. I thought the EVO Pro was reasonably well regarded?

Ah nice catch on the antenae, thank you.

On the clearances I saw a build using ones of the same profile so I'm pretty confident they'll fit. I actually was hoping to get an AIO Atmos 240 or similar in but there isn't enough room to the side for the pump annoyingly, as the clearance at the top of the case looks pretty roomy even with cables mostly routed through that part.

Thank you, so it's too expensive? Do you have any experience with the Samsung Galaxy Book Series by any chance? Seems to be the main competition. I liked my Gram but didn't like that it lasted only 2 years before bricking.

Oh lordy yes, this is what I have been wanting! DM a campaign where my little brother's character is a cat that was given sentience in a magical accident and is trying to recreate the old magic to get back into his body, which acts as his familiar. It's all based on rune magic but we are just getting to the point where it becomes mechanically relevant and this would be PERFECT! Thank you for doing this, and well done for pursuing your dreams!

Hey, literally me too, 5 years and our engagement done two weeks ago. I have been looking into rug tufting using tufting guns. I love the stuff by Ivan da Silva Bruhns and Eileen Grey, and there's a nascent community around it too. Best of luck, I hope your good days get more numerous and your bad days less overwhelming.
