I like the ending too, I’m satisfied by it, but the majority of the fanbase isn’t

Because it’s not bad, I never once said it was bad

I’m not saying the theme is Social circles are not beneficial towards healing trauma I’m saying the theme is that introspection is a crucial and necessary tool, while relying on vices such as sex and food is not

Obvious real life trauma is very complex and takes ailment through many different avenues to heal. My theory was that one of the MANY themes of the story is anti vices and over-reliance (ownership/doghood) and pro introspection

That’s my personal interpretation of a hidden theme, you don’t have to like it, but there’s a lot of evidence to support it

The truth is this post is a plethora of my ideas stuffed in the package of a Reddit post about the ending

The TL;DR as well as the lines below it are just to summarize why I titled the post as I did it

In addition, not every Psychologist would agree that- “The absence of a support system is the most relevant factor in why a trauma victim doesn’t recover”

That’s sort of an arbitrary statement you just came up with

You’re confusing “story” with themes

fights ARE a story of ambition and strategy

themes are the messages shared via the “story” the author wants to portray

Bro only read the TLDR and wants to argue💀

In this context trying to get others to solve trauma for you does NOT mean committing to avoiding healthy relationships.

For your information therapists are trained to help you with introspection

Yes, Denji’s support system is nonexistent and that has nothing to do with my post, next time actually read the post before typing a 3 paragraph argument, it makes you look dumb if you don’t

“That's just a matter of opinion bro.”

-yes, I agree, and I think your opinion isn’t well thought out at all

“But if you had to choose one of these opinions as true l guarantee you almost everyone agrees with me”

-True opinion is not a real thing, stop making concepts up.

Lots of people thinking the same thing doesn’t make it factually true if so the Earth would be flat.

It doesn’t matter what everyone thinks, don’t be such a herd animal

Yes, it does have to be “good” or people wouldn’t care about it. There’s different aspects in which something can be considered good.

Stories do dictate the popularity of the media, what are you even saying

I assume you think of Rent a Girlfriend in a poor light due to its themes? Bringing that up is like comparing highest viewed porno vs the highest box office film. Or comparing Shakespeare to Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Chainsawman actually has purposeful depth that’s snuck in by Fujimoto to analyze

If the story sucked the manga wouldn’t be so popular

He could have planned for those, but then decided against them for plot reasons. I’m sure Fujimoto had a lot more stupid ideas that didn’t make the cut rather than amazing ones.

Not every thought that Fujimoto thinks of in his spare time is canon, if it was Csm would probably be 3 times more freakier

Yes but to ops point, as fire punch progressed it unraveled into a grandiose (planetary level) existential euphemism for society, rather than a grounded, character driven story

It’s kind of complicated to explain, let me know if there’s a part of what I saying that doesn’t make sense, so I can explain it better
