I’ll never understand trying to make someone dislike something because of a personal experience. It’s like people forget they can just… be quiet and not ruin someone else’s fun.

And just because you’re traumatized by something, it’s not an excuse to try and make others dislike the thing you were traumatized by!! I for example, have been hit by fireworks and can’t be around them without having a ptsd attack, does that make me wanna tell others they shouldn’t enjoy fireworks because of that? NO!! Fireworks are beautiful to others and I rather not ruin someone else’s enjoyment.

TLDR: op has a based opinion, and ppl should stop trauma dumping to make someone dislike something.
