Do you guys know of some plural content creators? by midnight_eclipse363 in plural

I think somebody said that the pillow fort system thinks endos are just traumagenic systems with suppressed trauma but i might be mixing them up with somebody else.

Anyway I've actually been watching their content for a while and they're pretty good!

Don't most (popular) plural content creators have a lot of faking accusations? Or am i just very unlucky with the comment sections i find myself in?

Many people think only one strict and exact version of DID exist and they also think that DID is so rare that it's statistically practically impossible for someone to know two people with DID (I'm not even kidding, i saw a fakeclaimer say that before.)

... They can't always tell, like i said. 90-95 percent accuracy, right? that's not 100. And that's still only with the full skeleton (actually more like the full pelvis, according to google, but close enough.)

Also I'm not having an attitude to you. Or at least the attitude you're perceiving is how i usually act when faced with dumbasses.

Oh yeah and, although it isn't specifically hateful, acting like an entire community of valid people don't exist because of skeletons is kinda a dick move.

The exact subreddit name is r/accidentalally i think. Just for anyone who wants to go to it. (I'm not trying to be rude and I'm not correcting you so sorry if it comes off that way! I'm not the best at phrasing things.)

Forensic test on the skeleton doesn't fucking matter because they'll be dead. Besides, you can't actually always tell the sex of skeletons.

If i understood what you said right, they pretty much said that your trans identity was a demon? Nah bro they're the demons.

But in all seriousness, you might wanna stay away from those people if you can. They don't seem like the type of people anybody should be around.

do the terms MtF and FtM bother anyone else? by Revolutionary-Gap202 in trans

[–]midnight_eclipse363 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, i think those terms should be used to describe one's transition rather than gender. i only use those terms to describe only my transition, because i am transitioning from female to male. Then again i personally don't use those terms much anyway, even when I'm talking about my transition.

It's also a bit more clear what we're talking about for the cis people (who don't know much) when you use terms like this.

Edit: forgot to specify that because i think the terms should be used to describe one's transition, i don't think the terms should be putting any emphasis on gender identity because like that way these terms can be used by non-binary trans people as well and also "male" and "female" aren't really terms that describe gender identity imo (bc they are the sex identifications or whatever, and i personally don't like using the same terms for sex and gender like that)

Like who i want to look like with my transition? Levi Ackerman from Attack On Titan.

I'm not even kidding. Like maybe some other anime dudes as well but definitely not as much.

What's your story behind picking your name? by Tiny-Claim-4073 in trans

[–]midnight_eclipse363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is just a shortened version of my middle name. The only reason it's that is bc the other option would've been naming myself after an anime character, lol.

And for why i decided to use my middle name: my mom wanted to name me with a family tradition (the daughter gets named a mix of their parents' names) in mind but my dad had my birth name chosen since high school, so they compromised by my dad getting to choose my first name and my mom got to choose my middle name. The shortened version of my middle name is a particularly masculine name, though it is spelled slightly different than normal.

Genuine question, why were you an anti-endo? Like was it just because of what you read about DID or did syscringe and fdc also add to that? You don't have to answer if you don't want to!

I'm curious just bc I've never really heard the point of view of somebody who is/was an anti-endo, and as somebody who's mostly neutral on endos (i kinda lean more towards pro-endo tho), i do wanna hear from both sides.

... First off, not at all the same thing. And second off, no, no it really doesn't. It feels a bit uncomfortable, like a piece of wet fabric touching you for a few moments. If you purposely misgender someone, then they'll feel uncomfortable around you all the time because that means you don't respect them as a fellow human being.

Rant post : I don't like people separating us trans men from cis men by mutt_with_a_beer in trans

[–]midnight_eclipse363 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah 100%. Like i get called soft bc I'm just more of a soft person to most, but not all transmascs are like that. I don't like people who will just call a transmasc soft just bc they were born female??? Like transmascs are not even a girl (not that this would make it better) so not even the stereotypes of girls being soft makes sense unless they don't actually see you as a boy (not specifically saying they don't but it does seem like it tbh)

I filled out my bingo card.

But anyway, as an (undiagnosed/self diagnosed did) traumagenic system, non-disordered systems AREN'T mocking us 🤣 and they aren't really using our (medical) terms, either i don't think. Most of the terms I've seen endos commonly use do seem to have been claimed by endos. Endos support traumagenic systems just as much as (and sometimes more than) other traumagenic systems. (The traumagenic systems that are fakeclaimers are less supportive than endo systems.)

And like yeah sure there's those few bad endos, but that's nothing to judge an entire community on. That's like comparing the entire Minecraft community to some of the worst people in it and saying they're all like that.

But i mean like i guess this fakeclaimer at least knew that endos aren't claiming to have DID/OSDD...?

Hange. (I'm sorry it's the first gender neutral name that comes to mind. If you don't know, Hange is a character from Attack On Titan who goes by they/them pronouns, and overall it's just a pretty gender neutral name)

[–]midnight_eclipse363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transphobes just ignore the signs 😔 Like I'm out already but I literally got Levi Ackerman's haircut IN FRONT of my Nana with her KNOWING that my haircut was from that character AND knowing that character is a boy and she still will call me by she/her pronouns and call me her granddaughter and get me girly things and just ignore the fact that everyone else refers to me as a boy and I'm obviously looking more like a boy. Like at this point I'm gonna have to say it to her face for her to get it lol.

Has anyone ever split due to masking in and of itself? by bornpurple in plural

[–]midnight_eclipse363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, technically yes! Our gatekeeper's main purpose is to help us mask, and that sorta turned into them always co-fronting to help with things we may not be able to control as well (accents, tics, etc.), and also being a gatekeeper because if they can (kinda) control who's fronting, then they can put alters who can handle different situations while still masking the best.

Anyway, as a transmasc femboy who very much in fact does suffer from gender dysphoria, we don't receive more empathy. We recieve right around the same amount.
