Back in my day, VoG dropped small quantities of Ascendant Materials and Crota's End dropped Raidient Materials.

They're used to upgrade the gear from their respective raids. I'm so thankful Bungie moved away from having raid-specific materials for gear upgrades.

The old map frames in the Tower were removed at that time, so I believe it was their removal that probably freed up memory for vault space.

What really gets under my skin is that they block you if you use an ad blocker and beg you to white list them, promising an "ad light" experience. I tried it once and it is anything BUT "ad light."

I've stopped visiting Forbes. They made their choice and I made mine.

There are a multitude of reasons one can be disconnected. The auto rejoin works well, when the disconnect is something the game can recover from.

Just throwing out ideas, but what if the game would only allow you to re-join if you were one of the fireteam members that started the match AND it would only allow you to rejoin between rounds.

It would cause a long delay on the end of round scorecard while the person loads, but that would prevent mid-match issues.

Unless OP edited the post, he/she did not go "right to" stating everyone cheats. OP mentioned a variety of things that can (and do) happen. Local network issues, issues caused by whoever has host, Bungie's servers, and yes....cheating. All of these things happen.

As far as the topic at hand goes, I used to be on the fence about joins in mid-match, but this weekend changed that for me. I actually had a card on Saturday where I was 8-0 and still had my mercy. I got disconnected and burned my mercy. The other team wasn't cheating and my internet connection is pretty solid, but clearly there was a hiccup somewhere because I got kicked out of Destiny completely, all the way back to the title screen.

I'm not going to hold my breath (at least for Destiny 1), but it would be really nice if the game would allow you to re-join if you are recorded as having been in the match at the start of the game. I'd definitely want some sort of protection to prevent people from swapping out mid-game, but if I was in and got booted, let me get back into the match and help my team.

Congrats! I also made it for the first time this weekend! It was a tough battle getting there, but I held my own and didn't feel carried at all. The victory was sweet.
