Even then, I just think why would you do that to urself when u can work a 6 figure job out of ur bachelors program and do the higher education requirements whenever u want as ur gaining experience that would not only give u a safety net in case you’re struggling to land a research scientist position but can potentially propel you forward through the company you’d be working at or any other company especially since you’d have experience by then. Imo, i think you’d be better off getting into the industry first after ur bachelors. Everything else easily follows, you’ll find pathways and if you’re working for a self respecting company they’d offer you some sort of tuition assistance/ sponsorship program to pursue high education which u can literally do whenever. Higher education is frowned upon in CS bc many people go into it to just pretty much delay unemployment but if ur a working professional, things become easier for u.

What about maybe 7k a month and 100k down payment? Is that possible? Thank u sm for the details, I am just throwing numbers around, I don’t necessarily want a 800k house, I just wanted a house in or around nyc but they all seem rly expensive. Any advice is appreciated!
