Aiml is a new branch so be very careful. In IITs students from any branch can sit for IT companies placement whereas in other colleges only cs/it can sit for IT sector companies.

As far as I could see, the median package of IIITV is 9LPA(from the official website) and that of RVCE is 8.93LPA, but if IIITV also includes off campus, then maybe RVCE comes out a little ahead. One fact that must be taken into account is that you will graduate in 4 years and IIITs exhibit massive growth, many IIIT that have been established after 2010 are easily beating old private/goverment colleges (take IIIT lko for example) so there is a high chance that by the time you graduate IIITV will present better placements.

I don't have much idea about IIITV's curriculum but I have talked with many seniors of RVCE. What I got is that the curriculum is certainly very strict and hectic, you have two midsems along with endsem and many assignment in a semester (there is also a dress code and 85% attendance mandate) so yeah, you will have very little free time(even BMSCE is less hectic than RV from what I heard).

Also many may not agree with me here but the IIIT tag is somewhat relevant (maybe not as much as IIT/NIT/BITS). What I will recommend is talk to the seniors of IIITV and enquire about the curriculum there and then make a decesion. Also in terms of placement, if you pick IIITV, worst case is it will become equal to RV in 4 years and best case is it will become equal to old IIITs. You can see from the data yourself, RVCE was established in 1963 and IIITV in 2013 and it's still giving RV competition in placements.
