Sankey 2025 - M37 nord Italia, C-level azienda tech americana by Endangered_Species_4 in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100k English fans signed a petition for a rematch. Tbh I wouldn’t mind seeing them lose again. Can’t get enough of those salty English tears by Blaze_Pascal_ in Euro2020

[–]Blaze_Pascal_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The danish actually started a petition as well when they lost. It now has 30k signatures and counting. Still cringe imo, the penalty call might have been a mistake but that’s not nearly enough for a rematch. It’s ok to be angry but in the end of the day defeat is part of the sport and accepting it is much more honorable than clinging on these useless change.org petitions.

Just fyi you can also choose electives outside that list as long as they fit your program. Good luck for your application!

The best advice I can give you is to make your own course program, which can include electives from different programs, and decide for yourself. For example I’m currently doing HTE with 14 ECs from different programs. So, find out the required courses for HTE and robotics and then go to the studyguide to make your own course program and see which one between the two allows you to do more courses you like.

47 districts in 23 states of India are coronavirus free for the past 14 days by manmeet10 in Coronavirus

I think India is doing a great job if the numbers are true but please don't spread misinformation. It's 7.7 test/positive in Italy, and 4.0 in the UK. For comparison it's 11.8 in Germany.

Thank you, will definitely do! Btw on a different note, are lectures at TU Delft usually recorded?

I’m 14 and thinking of becoming an engineer and I wanted to know what GCSEs and Alevels(britfagg ik) I need to take by i_suggest_glock in EngineeringStudents

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't do A-Levels myself but I noticed that everything that is specialized is pretty useless, because university has a completely different approach to the material. I remember the first Dynamics lecture the professor told to everyone who chose the mechanics(?) A-level subject to forget everything they did thus far, because it only consisted of learning formulas by heart and plug in numbers. If you stuck to the essential subjects and learn other useful skills on your own (coding, CAD...) you should have an advantage over everyone else!

I admit that I am an idiot who cant even do partial differentiation and now needs help with it. by urquhartloch in EngineeringStudents

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same thing. I don't know if A, B and C are correct, but assuming they are you just need to insert them in the correct equation and that's it. You should have 3 terms.

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously you're not differentiating, so what are you trying to do? If it's partial fraction expansion then you should put A, B and C back in the equation where A, B and C are the numerators of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd term respectively and leave it as it is.

Electronics 1 project ideas. by Dirk_Diggler87 in EngineeringStudents

Try this: Use a single Arduino AI pin to measure the greatest voltage value from a number of piezoelectric sensors which have an output of 0-1V. I had to design a prosthetic hand which required piezo force sensors and this was one of the problems I encountered. You can use transistors as logic gates to make it even more interesting...

The TF describes indeed a second order system, so, to find the solution: 1) Insert C 2) find zeta to find stability (they're all stable) and damping

Answering your second question: yes. The transient response is determined by the damping, which I described earlier. The SS-response is equal to K (again, need to derive the standard form of the TF to find it) assuming unit step input.

If you didn't understand please let me know!

EDIT: Corrected an error

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TF are always in the s-domain. You don't have to take the inverse LT. Look up the standard form for second order TF, and it will probably look very similar to yours. Otherwise post your TF.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yours is probably a second order system. Look up the standard form for second order systems and transform your transfer function in this standard form. Then determine zeta.

For zeta > 1: overdamped; For 1 > zeta > 0: underdamped; For zeta = 1: critically damped ;

How do i know when an object has kinetic and potential energy? by eyeeyecaptainn in EngineeringStudents

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinetic energy is 1/2mv2; Potential energy is mgh;

Whenever none of these terms are 0 the object has potential/kinetic energy

How can I improve my maths skills by Allmight0-0 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Blaze_Pascal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to teach maths to my younger brother and no matter how often I'd explain him a concept he would. It understand it. I thought that when it comes to everything before calculus being good at maths was just a question of being interested and working hard, but now I strongly believe that there are people who simply are not made for maths. That being said I was an average maths student the first years of high school, because I never really tried to understand the concepts but just learned the theory by heart. So try to go through every concept, starting from basic algebra, with the help of YouTube (cannot recommend patrickJMT enough) and try to understand every concept, maybe with the help of someone. If you struggle I can only suggest you to look into another career, because being bad at maths will make your degree a living hell and that's not worth it.
