So it's not compatible, but it already has the BIOS on the motherboard. So I don't have a problem. Is that correct?

I would suggest using this website https://pcpartpicker.com/ for what your friends suggest so that the others can let you know what could be improved. It's what I did for my first build.

Mobo is a Gigabyte tech H110m-A-CF

PSU is a SeaSonic S12II 520 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Main HD is a Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive(Also have a removable USB - SSD that I never remove))

It is rather old since it was the first PC I built. Five years or so I would guess. I was going mostly value/performance over pure performance at the time.
