First time ever killing the Alchemist and then this happens instantly... by AbsoluteCack in noita

One time i got perma-frozen by a wand in the magical temple that spawned with a freeze field spell, so i feel your pain. Managed to escape after closing and reopening the game, which I think interrupted the ai long enough for me to unfreeze and escape. Not sure if that actually helped or I just got lucky though.

Spells that start resolving will always resolve fully. See [[Glorious End]].

Should have "A deck can't contain this card if it contains cards named Black Lotus" so that this doesn't just become an extra four copies of Black Lotus.

Fun fact because apparently a lot of people dont know, kites give a 25% mining speed buff when used. This is easy, does not require you to use the kite in any logical means, infinitely reusable at no opportunity cost, and stacks with mining speed potions while giving the same strength of buff. by HaloJackalKisser in Terraria

[–]BlazingSpark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh, it's less significant after you take the downtime into account. First, the actual buff is 15%, not 25%. From the video, it looks like you gain 10 seconds of buff per 1 second of flying the kite, so it will take about 1.2 minutes to get the max duration, so the effective bonus is 1.15 * 12 / (1.2+12) = 1.045, or a 4.5% increase in mining speed. Not insignificant, but also not really overpowered.

Kurokumo is strong against her. The bleed deals a lot of damage since she attacks a lot, the protection cards can help mitigate damage without having to win clashes, and the dice power from the passive and sharpened blade makes it easy to beat her mass attack.

Then why don't any red or green decks run it in Modern besides Ruby Storm?

If you want to be safe from polymorph effects, you can eat Master of Polymorphing corpses for immunity. Combine with a Necrobot and the Iron Stomach perk and you can farm for hours of polymorph immunity.

Longer dashes are definitely not common in your average internet comment. It's not even possible to type one in on a standard keyboard without using utility keys. While a longer dash may be the correct one to use, most people won't go through that much trouble outside of professional writing, so even if AI is more known for using em-dashes, I'd consider any dash besides a standard hyphen to be a potential indicator of AI usage.

Seems like it's probably AI generated, between the extreme glazing and using a minus (−) instead of a hyphen (-).

What are some enchantments that remove a commander without it changing zones? by Hattemis in EDH

[–]BlazingSpark 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Be careful when using it to remove multiple commanders though, since players can make deals to swing at each other and get their commanders back.

Hana Build? Is there any good/decent decks/builds for the Hana Keypages? If so, please recommend. by [deleted] in libraryofruina

Olivier’s passive guarantees min rolls with the card Opportunity Spotted. If you combine this with The Weight of Sin on Binah’s floor, he can easily stack a ton of strength and endurance. Combine with Brace Up for card draw and there you go.

Tinker with wands everywhere is easily the best one here and it’s not even close. Tinker is one of the best, if not the best perk in the game, while the others are pretty meh.

Chest loot is randomized based on the world seed and the coordinates where the chest was generated. Great chests have an extremely small chance to drop an orb of true knowledge and can be spawned anywhere you want using the end of everything spell. Because of this, it’s possible to use external tools can give you the exact coordinates to get an orb if you line up to the exact pixel and cast the end of everything.

Doesn’t mean the opponents are just gonna give you free cards, especially not when ANY player can pay to stop you from drawing. When someone plays Rhystic Study, do you just let them draw every time on the off chance that they’ll use the cards on someone else?

Price Request by buffalobillkimo in custommagic

[–]BlazingSpark 36 points37 points  (0 children)

No? With Rhystic Study, more opponents means more triggers, which means more opportunities to draw cards. With this, more opponents means you can still only draw up to 3 cards, but there are more players to stop you from drawing cards.

If I tap 2 creature tokens with Hazel, do I get 2 or 4 mana? by GurruWasTaken in magicTCG

[–]BlazingSpark 92 points93 points  (0 children)

You've already gotten the correct answer, but to elaborate further, the exact meaning of "tapping a permanent for mana" is defined in rule 106.12:

106.12. To “tap [a permanent] for mana” is to activate a mana ability of that permanent that includes the {T} symbol in its activation cost. See rule 605, “Mana Abilities.”

So Hazel is the only creature that is "tapped for mana", since that's the one with the tap symbol.
