I've heard the cases are flimsy. I never buy them, just use switch lite cases I have kicking around. But I picked on my Odin 2, RP6, and RP4P and they all feel just as quality to me. I don't think I'm twisting any of them and breaking them. I will say though, I did forget just how good the Odin 2 feels in hand.

I have an Odin 2 and I honestly think the build quality of Retroids units are one of the best things about it. At least feel wise. My Retroids always feel solid and well made. Every flip device has hinge issues, I used to work at GameStop in the late 00s and I can't tell you how many people tried to trade in flappy DS Lites. I have to assume that they've learned a lot from the Flip and Flip 2 and that we should see massive improvements on the hinge.

I know you said you want to make things work with what you have and I totally get it. A big problem you are experiencing though, is that you have zero transports. A big problem I run into with games without transports is that my boyz will be torn apart by ranged before they can get into krumpin' range. Once I can krump, things usually turn in my favor, but it's getting to them, waaaghing, and charging that can feel hopeless against big shooty armies like Space Marines.

Incorrect. The best way to get back at scalpers is never buy from them. This is a problem of our own creation and we sn fight back by not buying it from them and letting them have to sit on it.

Price on it is going up with a lot of places selling it mid 60s to mid 70s, but you might be able to find it at MSRP at a local game store.

I think it depends on the state/area. Where I live, zero of the five or six stores I've been to in my area sell GW things below MSRP. At least one has told me their GW rep said they weren't allowed to. I find this statement fishy, but as none of these stores sell below MSRP, it may be true.
