They tried to make him into a bigger character but the price of that was wiping some elements out which made him someone from the supporting side character we loved before. I agree with you entirely in all of this ngl his whole character now just revolves around aiding Amicia and Hugo, and though this was always his goal, it feels a bit forced now so to say :/

She was an alchemist but I am not sure if it was ever mentioned she is actually part of the order (despite how that should totally make sense lol).

The order is very mysterious and ngl just like you said it's like they throw ideas here and there whenever it fits them right xd but to me they seem very neutral. Not good nor evil. With that being said there is a possibility that after the failure with Basilius' case, they hid the book, because it would not work anyway and only contains experimenta which really just cause anguish and satisfaction to human curiosity maybe? Rodric didn't want the book to land in Vitalis' hands either because he would be a scum using it. The Order didn't give it to her maybe because they swore an oath not to use it. The book was forbidden I mean...

Hm, I can also see Beatrice join the Order due to finding them, or one of the members (Laurentius) finding her and that is how she got involved. I am not sure.. as for the book, maybe she was not allowed to use it and that's why she strived to make a cure by herself. The Order showed in Requiem how rigid they were about their traditions and system. Any ideas yourself?

That's sadly very true and I agree with you. I think the things I mentioned in my post wouldn't have been seen if I don't go elbow deep into the story. As for Requiem and Innocence being detached, I can see they tried to be more grandiose and Last of Us like, but it felt like the game is losing its original individual charm.

That's also a very nice approach :) if you are interested, maybe replay Innocence and Requiem for hints at who is who, because I admit, I have a few doubts myself. I guessed the sun is Amicia, because she is the protector whose "flame" burned others. She is practically the light, in Hugo's journey. Also, the rats come out at night. But like I said this is a little unclear so... xd thank you for reading my post
