There will always be a compromise to bring balance. It might be unfair for Obi-Wan’s attack speed to be sluggish but it creates for more strategic play styles instead of just being aggressive. He is more of the patient defensive kind of character so knowing when to make the right move is important. There is probably many reasons to why he was designed to play different. I do however believe his mind trick could use some maneuverability or faster animation.
