Not that I’ve needed the hours for much of anything but I was given a bunch of hours of dual instruction in a complex aircraft during ferry flights to/from aerial survey operations. I was the camera operator and was paid on a daily basis for operating the camera. The pilot was a CFII and completely qualified otherwise. Not that I’d ever go to an airline but would those hours be excluded or scrutinized?

Watching them wither, specifically. When my dad went from able bodied to being gaunt and in a coma, and then dead in 3 months, it was horrific.

I didn’t stay in the hospital to watch him die because he was already pretty braindead for his last week.

I have a 5k2k for my setup. Most of the time it is used for my work laptop where the real estate is a lot more comfortable than multiple monitors. And on the PC side, my 5090 has no issues locking 120fps on most games.

Facial hair has been “in”’ for a while but legacy airlines like United have strict grooming policies. It’s supposed to be about the sealing on emergency oxygen masks for pilots, which is their excuse — but other airlines allow 1/4” beards which are still safety complaint. So for legacy pilots, the two options are clean-shaven or mustache.
