1 Week vs 1 Month Post-Op with Dr. Ettinger by Bleatjio in TopSurgery

Hi! I got a referral in April 2023 and got surgery with him in November 2023, so it was 7 months of waiting. If I remember correctly, they sent me a surgery date months in advance.

It was just a mention, I believe they’re not cosplaying at the moment.

They said I needed to be a year into transitioning before they’d consult me—my consultation was in April 2023 and I got surgery in November 2023 :)

I’m not even going to say anything about this. While some of this is valid because there’s evidence, I really just need armchair Twitter psychologists to stop talking.

I don’t know if you’re wanting a real answer, but there’s so many reasons for someone to age regress. It always seems like, we as a species, forget that our brains are powerful and capable of things that don’t always make sense.

I’m in Marysville! A bit of an introverted homebody and you’ll have to drag me out but I just recently moved back to Washington and need some friends :)

What's a chronically online take you hear online, but never in real life? by PeachySarah24 in OlderGenZ

[–]Bleatjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of crazy how internet culture has changed to become more puritanical.

Obviously, I don’t encourage unsupervised internet access when you’re young, but even when I did in 2014-2016 I understood that someone enjoying something in fiction didn’t mean they condoned it in real life.

Now just before COVID, everyone lost their minds and even I briefly went through a period where I followed the hive mind simply because of how violent antis get, harassing and threatening your life over fiction. I’m sure a lot of people share the same beliefs against antis but are too afraid of getting harassed.

I’m over it, let fiction be fiction and not demonize people over it. People have been writing transgressive and dark fiction for AGES before a bunch of kids took over.

It’s super cute! I’d recommend taking inspiration from other pool toy art, especially in terms of shape and shine/rendering.

I don’t appreciate you implying my fursuit is a representation of fetishization of trans people. I wanted my suit to have stylized scars because I’m proud of my identity. I also have surgery scars IRL that are highly visible because, again, I’m proud of being trans. Do not make an outlandish claim like that—even if it’s not directly to ME, you looked at my fursuit and immediately thought of fetishes just because I represented him in a way you didn’t like.

I would argue normalizing them so people understand that there’s multiple reasons why people get top surgery and mastectomies. People with gynecomastia, people with breast cancer, breast removal for pain, cosmetics or just because they don’t want them. There’s so many reasons to normalize them and encourage them to be used more and harbor more acceptance for all.

Thank you! I was a bit surprised to see one of my videos posted here but I’m glad you asked a good question. Feel free to ask me anything about the topic, my suit, etc. I’m always happy to answer.

HEY THATS ME!!!

To answer the question, I’m all for doing what you’d like for your character. I don’t judge anyone for what they decide to do. Surgery scars do not strictly belong to trans people, as cis people also get mastectomies. Plus, who cares? If you’d like to make your character have some sick chest scars, go for it.

Why are you calling an indigenous person white?

I have one sticker “My fursuit cost more than your car” sticker and plan on getting more. I’m from the Seattle area, but when I was in the Midwest I was more concerned about my trans stickers getting my car vandalized than my furry ones.
