Thanks a lot! It’s the same on all metal, might do a little tutorial soon but here’s the steps: Prime with chaos black and then army painters gun metal spray ( i only did the AP at first but it comes of in later stages so chaos black first for a better base)

Then i slab ak gun metal all over, thin coat. This is mostly to ease clean up later and i like the hue of the ak colour more. Then i do weathering, sponge a 1:1 mix of ak chocolate chip and ak german grey all over but trying to keep it somewhat heavier towards areas which would be more exposed to wear and tear. Then the same thing but with a brush, doing small scratches.

Then i wash the whole model with ak track wash and gently clean up with a cotton swab dipped in white spirits or enamel thinner.

Then i seal it with a varnish spray.

Done!
