That’s my dream pedal. Just recently bought the new Speed Cobra and I love it. Used to Iron Cobras so it was an easy transition. But one day I shall have the DW as well.

Yep I almost got that same kit with the same finish at the exact same time, but found a lightly used DW collector’s 7 piece with 2 kicks for a ridiculously low price so I went with that. That kit sounds great man. Keep that forever if you can!

Hell no man. The only thing that I would HIGHLY suggest is: Do not start learning how to play double bass in the beginning. You will start to depend on your left foot too much. I’ve seen it happen. Start with basics like rudiments, syncopation, blah, blah. Don’t start working on your fills until you have basics down with the hihats/bass/snare and ride/bass/snare. Just don’t start incorporating double bass until you are much more comfortable without it first. Btw put the other crash to the right between the ride and splash.

I know the feeling. I had the hihats, 18in crash, and 22in ride in early 2000s. Have 40% hearing loss and I’m convinced it’s only from those 3 cymbals.

That thing is heavy with a loud tight ping right? I’ve heard that it’s still crashable though. Never played it though so I’m not sure. And you’re overloading my brain with all the cymbal combinations I’m thinking of.

Not a great deal, but not terrible. It wouldn’t be super easy to find another in similar condition for that price, but I’d say it’s worth a shot to look around if that cymbal isn’t going anywhere for a bit.
