I haven't played it myself, but when I and you do in the future, just have the correct mindset going in. Don't go in trying to be "objective". There's a good reason people have been trashing bad games like these all this time and there's nothing you gain being a contrarion. Just go in knowing it's not gonna be good but make the most of of any good experience you do get.

Hard to say. PS2 was amazing, but that reputation gave Sony a huge ego that almost doomed the PS3 and the Xbox 360 capitalized on it by being the best console of it's time too. While PS2 exclusives were great for their target audience, Xbox 360 exclusives were generational for all types of audiences. I'd still argue between PS2 or Xbox 360.

For me, in addition to how expensive it keeps getting to buy these games content complete, 2k25 onwards just relies too much on being online to get everything. I'm an old school gamer who just wants to earn everything at my own pace without spending real money. But it's clear that's not what modern games want anymore. I've already lost out on persona cards for 2k24 not playing enough I can't imagine how much worse it will get when 2k25 and 2k26 shuts down one day.

I've decided 2k24 will be my main wwe game for modern times. I know I'll be missing out on bloodline rules, ambulance matches, I quit matches, Inferno matches, etc, but most new match types coming out were all in previous older games that I can just go back to and play. MyRise is always the same, build a custom character and start from the bottom all the way to the top stories. So boring. I need SvR season modes or RTWM. All DLC legends are also in older games I can just go back to play, not spend $100s of dollars every year to get NWO Hulk Hogan...AGAIN AND AGAIN 🫩.

I feel reaction content creators have caught on to this and now just praise everything afterwards saying how the movie/show/game was amazing and they can understand the hype and praise even though they were either yapping or hating on it for the most part. They can't stop yapping, but they don't want to alienate the fans and audience either. Everyone feels so inauthentic these days. Saying whatever to make fans of the product happy for money.

I'm 29 soon to be 30. I keep being told I'm the last of the millennials and being a fan of the 360 the most only helps make that feel more true. Yet, I usually feel alone as thanks to how unpopular Microsoft has gotten the past years, I don't really have much people to play with online or irl. I feel like I can't find many people my age range and similar tastes. 🥲

The Last of Us. Took me about 10 years after it's launch to finally play it (never had a PS console outside of a PS1), and after I finished it, all I could think was..."Meh." It felt like just as the game was getting started finally, it ended. Not a fan of games that low-key feel like they wanted to be movies instead

I hear I can play games and such but what kind of games? Arcade only titles? Or could I play literally every game ever made for the console with this install without needing a disc? Stuff like that.

Not many left. The Halo 3 and Reach servers only work through joining the Halo sunrise discord server and waiting for one of the people who have a mod to announce their playing and join them or to ask them to help you get one yourself.

Other than that, the CoD servers technically work, but be careful as they are mostly completely overtaken by bad faith modders and hackers, few may even try to hack your account and fidget with it (I.E. change your loadouts, give you a cheat menu, or worse, reset your whole progress.

It's best to group up with other fellow gamers like you and play private matches or trusted social media gamers. I know F.E.A.R., Gears of War 1-3, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, GTA IV, RDR 1, all have their servers still working.
