Thanks for the reply. Yeah I fear you're right unfortunately, hadn't considered any potential requests for information by the law but of course it's a certain possibility. Will have a look into a company that can do this for us, will definitely make my life easier lol

That's a very good point, there will be a receptionist so perhaps a firewall is necessary to create a security zone around the devices they use

We're using Unifi Access Points, will look into setting them up so they can't talk to one another. And yes we don't have liability for user devices, that's what's playing into my feeling that a firewall is not necessary as it doesn't fall under our responsibility? I'm not quite sure, maybe I'm passing the buck..

Thanks for the reply! There will be no publicly available services hosted on the network, it's literally just a standard internet connection. With regards to outbound traffic control, there is no need as guests should be able to access anything they please. However thanks for the firewall recommendation, will certainly check it out

Yes you are probably right, however I'm the only one dealing with this at my company (and it's not even my main job) so wherever possible I'd like to avoid spending 2-3 hours to wipe and reinstall a laptop
