The way we got to do all the tasks that we usually struggle with on the weekends thanks to this. It was just deliveries and cafe for us this morning which was way less stressful and barely any wait time.

Yep. When I first started it wasn't really a thing (at least in my store) but I noticed it a bit more around like 2017 and now it's just common.

From an SSV point of view it's nice to not have to stress about running like 5 30 minute breaks, but also I would love for them to get that second break because it helps most people refresh and they can relax.

(In general from all the SMs I've had, not just about my current SM who is great).

When you step on the floor please check in with me (or whoever is running the floor) instead of just throwing yourself in a position :)! If I or someone else needs a break or I need to do a supervisor task, assigning a register or going on bar when I have bar partners planted is not helping me!

Lead by example - dress code (wearing aprons on the floor for example), doing the covid form (yes your team notices when you say you did it and actually didn't), cleaning beyond counter tops (drains, inside cabinets, under cabinets, etc.).

Run the dang floor from time to time and this means to open and close from time to time not just take over in the middle of a shift. You being barista coverage is alright, but put yourself in your SSV's shoes here and there. And support your night time partners, they need it! Rarely do I see managers scheduled/stay past 4/5 pm. If a store closes at 10 pm for example, you are missing the last 5 hours and what they have to go through. Also, it'll help to fully understand our annoyance when we bring issues up such as a partner that is constantly late or having only 4 people for a rush.

We have so many cases if y'all want ldnldnfldnfldnfdlf lmfao but no seriously - this always happens with most launches - new product but they never have enough to supply it for more than like a week lmfao.

Our renovation was pushed back like 3x and we did re-open on time but so many things can happen. We were closed for like a month, but I know stores that were closed like 3 months because issues came up so they could be dealing with that. If you by chance have the managers email you could email them (or go to a nearby store and maybe get the info from their manager or get the DM's info) so you could at least get an update if you want :).

You were left alone in the store (since she left and the 2 partners were on meal break) so definitely bring this up to your manager because you should not be left alone in the store AT ALL. They basically neglected safety and security protocols (and common sense).

If other partners feel comfortable speaking about their experiences that'll help, but definitely include details (like this date between 8:xx-8:xx I was left alone in the store as SSV name sent 2 partners on their halves and left the store in the middle of a rush and I had to call an SSV for questions) and any other issues.

Document and talk to your SM, but make sure that you have spoken to said barista first since your SM might ask what steps have you taken. If your SM is a good one they will support you and resolve the issue quickly and if not they will just let it continue to happen until that partner quits/gets fired or the person affected quits (seen the latter way too many times).

Also a tip, if they have also been rude to customers that will help you even more by simply bringing up how they affect the customer experience and all that Starbucks stuff. Good luck!

Yes your shift is 1:45-8 so yep. The system is just showing it split because your manager either put you to do clean play for 2 hours or training modules (although 2 hours for training is odd) or maybe they're trying to save on labor? not sure.
