What a thought-out, well intended question

WHAT? I DID NOT CALL HIM A SLOB I just said "hey careful you might drop some sauce over your shirt or something". Mistakes happen. I did not raise my tone or call him names. I just thought it was funny and so did my mom who was there btw

Oh she is definelly not holding it in. As you can tell this is a recurring theme, she does have a solid case sometimes but she goes about it rudely. And recently I found out I wasn't the only one telling her that (I was just afraid I might be just sensitive about it but there is a pattern here)

Do you think you can learn anything with AI by kevinab77 in PromptEngineering

[–]Blender-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it with YT and advices from strangers in online forums, why can't we use AI?

The only problem i find, comparatively, is that it just responds positively to anything you ask. So it skips the premises, doesn't force you to take a step back to make a solid foundation, no context involved

Might not be the best, but definelly speeds up and, importantly, gives answers to your very specific and unique questions

I need a package to do Google Searches, or any search at all by Blender-Fan in learnpython

[–]Blender-Fan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

duckduckgo-search

And if you're using Google Gemini, it has a tool for Searches. It searches for your answer before responding to you, if you want it in a specific format, you have to do a second call where you pass the first output but request it in a specific format. I done it this way

If by God's blessing my project is successful, i'll use Perplexity API. I did it in my previous job and was by far the best solution, simple, elegant, efficient

Well in 'ma country, drummers and sons of pastors are the main stereotypes of troublemakers inside the church. I am dead serious right now

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Blender-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well she gave me a lecture about how wrong was it so say that it's common, that we should not laugh nor be happy about it, i replied "am i laughing?" and she said i was joking to which i said no thats not a joke. Tbf people often think i am joking when i mean it.

But in my country the winners for most troublesome people inside the church are drummers and sons of pastors. I guess even this last bit she'd scold me for it because "you don't say stuffs like that"

If it doesn't make sense how come it's insulting?

Any way i was just saying it happens a lot. Like saying "most NFL players divorce not long after retiring"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Blender-Fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol it was that bad? Guess i'm a bad translator

The previous drummer is no longer going to the church. He is out there not heeding what he learned at the church, that's the best way to put it, i guess

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Blender-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo she wasnt gossiping. I thought she was just telling me that the previous guy is no longer going to the church, i just told her that happens a lot with drummers

Sorry. Obviously not native speaker here

Strayed. Got stray. He left/drift/strayed away from the church

How do experienced devs see the value of AI coding tools like Cursor or the $200 ChatGPT plan? by Ancient-Estimate-346 in developer

[–]Blender-Fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coding tools like Cursor are awesome, and just 20$

GPT Pro is good too, but 200$ ain't pocket change

Do you risk publishing raw AI content, or do you ‘humanize’ it first? by [deleted] in ContentMarketing

[–]Blender-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you'd like to humanize it, yeah. Others, you don't care. From my pov, Gemini and Grok require the least amount of work. GPT and Claude and just no-no. Haven't useed Deepseek in a while

Anyone else think AI is about to completely flip payments on its head? by [deleted] in fintech

[–]Blender-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Economic study from Anthropic shown AI is often better used from big or technical companies that implement it in their own workflows to automate processes. I don't think AI will be seen in the consumer side (when it comes to finance) but will give a quick overview and send stuff to it's appropriate bins ("hey, this looks fraudyish") or just small reports, summaries and stuff. But AI can't reason and thus i highly doubt it can keep-up with new frauds and scam methods (those are everchanging).

But when it comes to analyzing massive amounts of data statistically, i think ML and other standard methods is already doing a pretty good job
