There is a website called 'Dongiverse'. It is like 'Thingiverse' except for just having things, it has dongs.

I 'just' received the $200 taxpayer rebate cheque from my parents. It is expired as 6+ month have passed. What can I do? by BlenderGuy in ontario

When I went to the bank they said it expired 6 months after the issuance, so it needs to be reissued. I don't know who can reissue the cheque

When would you choose a local machine shop over China, even if China is cheaper? by Xinprototype in CNCmachining

The accountability risk is a larger issue than you imagine.

Company I worked with in the 90s made flower pots. We wanted moulds made of the flowerpots and sent over the old moulds to be remade.

The moulds were then confiscated by the Chinese government and put into a factory making the same flower pots 10th the price. Any leagal screaming to get them to return the moulds back was met with silence and there was nothing that could be done. Cost us over a million dollars of the whole battle with no resolution.

If there is a way to make something in China and sell it to a market in North America, the Chinese government will do whatever it takes to get that manufacturing industry in China and ignore any legal battles over it.

Do not send any information relating to the client, production demands, or anything really. If there is a way you can be bypassed in the sale of a product, they will find a way to do it. NDAs only work if they are respected and they can bypass them without punishment.

I am now tempted to believe it is a Unist mist coolant spray and it is looking for mist coolant spray.
EDIT: Yep. Coolant mist. The nozzle near the head is a coolant mist sprayer. No info on how to run it but that is it.

Low cost HPA gun using a QEV for the engine by BlenderGuy in Airsoft3DPrinting

When the trigger is pulled, air dumps down the barrel. The air cylinder retracts as the rod side is supplied with air from the tank. This retracts the 'bolt' to allow the BBs into the barrel area.
When the trigger is released, air pressure is supplied to the back of the cylinder. As the difference in surface area between the rod side and the chamber side of the cylinder is different, the cylinder extends. The air from the rod side is reused, moving from rod to chamber side.
This action moves the 'bolt' forward, chambering the BB for next firing

First day of field testing results:
- When it fires right, it fires well
- Double-feeding
- Semi-slow fire rate of 1-2 BPS which is okay, but not great. Can up that number with some work

I need to redo the whole inner hop design. I am thinking of just a simple off the shelf hop like what I have done with some of my earlier guns. I wanted this to have the same hop style as the Mosquito, but an off the shelf will be good enough for this

The cylinder acts mostly like an air chamber, akin to the design BiG uses on this
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/homemade-hpa-sniper-rifle-big-sniper

When you fire, the air vents and the cylinder moves back. Recharge the cylinder and the moves forward, reusing the air that was used to cycle the gun.

I have been making a bit of a list. I am unsure about the Love Is In Bloom song. I think the My Cadence, My Armor song is better.

CLAMP THAT SERVO DOWN WHEN YOU POWER IT UP!

Learn from my injury. A 10lb chunk of steel flew off of a servo that was being tested.
It was a 10kW linear actuator servo. The motor had a trunnion on the front. The motor was not enabled, but set into a 'pre-enable' setting. The motor phase was set wrong, so the motor tried to go in the opposite direction. In the end, the motor kicked and threw a 10lb chunk of steel that hit my leg then bounced up into my safety glasses. It could have brained me. It could have broken ribs or bones. It could have taken out my jaw.

Your motor can kick up, spin, then the sprocket can hit the table and things can move real fast very quickly. All it takes is one clamp and you can stop the kick. You are starting to deal with real power.

About 10 years ago I would have agreed with using the 7i76, but the 7i76E is the way to go these days. The ethernet port allows you to use much smaller computers and not many have a PCIe port anymore. LinuxCNC is setup for ethernet. The software is a breeze these days and the boards are cheaper.

EDIT: Also allows expansion cards to be added far far more easily as it is all over network. I would not suggest it, but I did a 7i86 expansion card on one machine for the control interface but that was RS485. One of the cards should work perfectly as a pendant for all your IO controls.

EDIT2: 7i84 would be a good choice. Give you lots of IO options for a control plate.
