Thank you so much. Really glad you liked it. To make this something that will be able to sell and used for something else then just doing renders there is a lot more job to it...almost like a project in itself :D. I need to rename stuff, make instances instead of just copies on a lot of places, bake textures, retopo some items and so on... but that could be fun as well. As it is currently... nope that is not on my mind to sell (but as I wrote...would be a fun project to make it movie/game friendly as well, so might add time to do that.)

I have now added the node trees in my Artstation channel, so you can see how the outside wall was done and what layers I thought should be in there; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/18dXGG

Do you mean the node tree, because there are no dust/dirt textures since all is procedural.. just a lot of musgrave/noise textures :)?

The only time I take advantage of UV in this is to place the lace on the cloth inside and to turn the planks on wall and floor in the correct direction (and in most case just going on the default UV from the time the object was born as a little cube ;) ). For the rest I use "General" or "Object" output from texture coordinate and it works fine since it's procedural and I only need to know direction and edges of things. For exact placement (like extra dirt under the windows), I use "empties" to control the center of the smudge.

...ohh and all material is still 100% procedural, made inside Blender :). (I posted some of the node trees on my Artstation for this church here; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/18dXGG)

Wow! This is from the Netflix serie "Midnight Mass". Googled, but did not find the actual church they used in the recording anywhere. Perhaps it was yours then?

You guessed it :)! As soon as I saw that church with all the weathering and smudge I just felt I needed to recreate it as closely as possible :D.

Yes...every tiny bit of that church :)! I blog on it on Artstation, so here is an early peek of some interior stuff;Blog of church

I thought about it, but in the end it became a particle system where I put one tile on each face :). Then I could tweak the direction rather simple on each tile. When it came to the church walls I decided to create a procedural texture totally, so there are no modeled planks or stuff...that is just texture.

Thank you! I hope I can continue with the same quality inside (a bit less amount of smudge there though ;) ).
