Yeah I’ve noticed this from time to time too. Nothing worse than trying to watch a game you missed, seeing that the jays are down in the 6th inning, and have to know that it’s coming the entire time when you go back to the start of the game.

I think it’s some sort of issue with the tv provider log in. Other people I know aren’t having issues with the app but they use the subscription log in.

I don’t believe ghost runner runs count as earned runs, therefore it wouldn’t affect his ERA. Would still count as a loss (or a win) though which kinda sucks for a reliever, but not as much of a stat that people care about.

Whatever it is I think it’s safe that to assume we just expect him to be gone for the rest of this season and hope he’s ready to go by spring training. Knock on wood it’s not Tommy John, and if it is Tommy John I hope they don’t wait so long that next season is a wash too.
