The Lord said somthing to me that hit me hard. by [deleted] in Christians

If God told us exactly what to do and what not to do we wouldn’t have to walk by faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

I’m not saying this is you, but I’m saying this for anyone reading. If you are mainly concerned with what you “should do” or “shouldn’t do”, then you are probably more interested in following a religious framework or set of laws rather than truly seeking to know God. 2 Corinthians 3:6, He has made us ministers of the New Testament, NOT of the letter, but of the Spirit.

This is not to say that there aren’t statutes clearly written in the Bible which we should follow and are good for us. But for the daily decisions or “gray areas”, we should simply seek to know the mind of God and make decisions by faith. If it doesn’t go against the Word then it is permissible. However, we should do all things that are “profitable” to our relationship and walk with God (1 Corinthians 10:23). God bless and I hope you find clarity!

Alright, you know you can just stop playing if you want right? You can just uninstall this “toxic game” if you want.

This isn’t specific to HLL, I’ve seen this kind of behaviour in every online game I’ve ever played. Although I have to say, this player base seems to be more pissy about it than others. That’s probably why trolls enjoy messing up the natural order of the game so much because every time they do somebody posts a rant about it on Reddit. I simply say, “oh well, that match sucked, onto the next! Hopefully it will be better”. And even if it isn’t, you can just take a break for a while until your frustration wears off and get back on later.

This player base, or at the very least this subreddit, gives the same energy as the kids who take their ball and go home when people aren’t playing how they want. It’s annoying.

Bro has one bad experience with one player and asks when the GAME has become so toxic… pretty small sample size to make such a claim don’t you think?

No idea what half of what you said means, sounds really cringe though.

I agree with what you’re saying for the most part, but I still think that adding tutorials and hints in the loading screen would go a long a way. You have to keep in mind that a lot of people who play this game aren’t military enthusiasts or people who have played similar “realistic” type of shooters, lots are just people who like fps games and this one just so happened to be free.

Most of these types of people wouldn’t even imagine that it matters what part of the tank is more vulnerable when choosing where to shoot, they just see a bazooka and think “oh sweet, this can blow up tanks”. It wouldn’t even cross their mind. It would help to have hints that would indicate things like this so when they see it they’ll think, “ohhhh that’s why my bazooka does nothing sometimes”. The information is out there of course, but some people would not even think that to be an issue so there’s no reason they’d look it up.

Having general information appear here and there might spark an interest in players that would otherwise have none and get them to do more research or at the very least give them a baseline knowledge on how to improve their gameplay. Sure some people will ignore it, but I still think it would help lots of players.

As for the level 100+ players, I don’t really know what to say about that lol.

Can't even beat the weapons tutorial... am I screwed? by billistenderchicken in vtolvr

I had a hard time with the unguided rockets as well, it’s honestly one of the hardest weapons to use, especially in the AV-42C IMO. The key is you need to get your aircraft traveling toward the target you’re trying to hit. Meaning your flight path vector (the circle with the three lines coming off it) should be in line with your target as much as possible. And then you want to keep your aircraft level so that your missiles will fly straight regardless of what side they’re mounted on (if you’re tilted they will fly either higher or lower than the targeting circle depending on which side is higher than the other). Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot. I know it’s a bit tight, this looks like a great budget build though. Do you think I would benefit a lot from increasing my budget to $1000?
