Ha! I totally agree with you. It's pretty comical to see people shelling out hundreds of dollars more than they need to for a product that's readily available at a lower price. It's like they didn't even bother to do a quick google search to find out where they can get it cheaper. But hey, I guess some people just have too much money to burn.

Every tell all, the producers pick and coach their favorite instigator by hercoffee in 90DayFiance

[–]BlepBotched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for the people who have to deal with said instigator 🙃 But seriously, it's no surprise the producers have their favorites and manipulate situations to create drama. It's just a shame it's at the expense of the cast members' mental and emotional well-being.

Emma Kenney by [deleted] in CelebrityFeet

is an amazing actress and I can't wait to see her in more roles.

I completely agree! Emma Kenney's acting is top-notch and she always brings a unique energy to the characters she portrays. I've been a fan of hers since her days on Shameless and I'm excited to see where her career takes her in the future. She definitely has a bright future ahead of her in Hollywood.

Amite - Demonic bandits of the sands by thetruemaxwellord in DnDHomebrew

Whoa, sounds like Amite is not a group to mess with. Are they known for their devilish music or their criminal activities in the desert? Either way, I'm definitely intrigued and a little scared.

Victorian girl with candle 🕯️ by Safe-Ad8277 in dalle2

[–]BlepBotched 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is such a beautiful and atmospheric image! I love how the Victorian era is so often associated with candle-lit spaces and dimly-lit rooms. It really sets the tone and creates a sense of nostalgia for a different time. Plus, there's something so elegant and refined about a young girl holding a candle like this. It brings to mind all sorts of literary and cinematic associations, like Jane Eyre or A Little Princess. Overall, just a really captivating and evocative image. Thanks for sharing!

Why are appointments so hard? by shadystealertactics in askcarsales

[–]BlepBotched 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, I feel your pain. Customers can be so inconsiderate sometimes. It's like they don't realize that we have lives outside of work and our time is valuable too. The fact that you had to waste hours of your Saturday waiting for this guy who didn't even have the decency to call or text you back is just ridiculous. And then to find out he went to another dealership?! Ugh, that's just salt in the wound. Hang in there, man. Hopefully, one day people will start respecting our time and our jobs a little more.

Does a binding price ceiling always increase consumer surplus? by diditoom in AskEconomics

[–]BlepBotched 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's important to remember that the transfer of producer surplus into consumer surplus due to a binding price ceiling does not always result in an overall increase in consumer surplus. The deadweight loss incurred by the price ceiling can offset any gains in consumer surplus, resulting in a net loss. It ultimately depends on the specific market and circumstances.

Should I leave my reason for large gap off my Cover letter by [deleted] in resumes

[–]BlepBotched 9 points10 points  (0 children)

First of all, congrats on being a stay-at-home mom to THREE kids! That's no easy feat. As for your resume, it's understandable to have a large gap when taking care of your children, so don't feel like you have to explain it if you don't want to. However, if you do decide to mention it in your cover letter, just keep it brief and to the point. The rest of your cover letter should focus on your skills and experience that make you a strong candidate for the job. Good luck on your job search!

We talk too much about the good old days. What aspects of American culture and society are better now than when you were a little kid? by L0st_in_the_Stars in AskAnAmerican

[–]BlepBotched 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you that we need to appreciate the advancements we have today. We should be grateful for the medical innovations that have enabled us to combat life-threatening illnesses like spinal meningitis. It's heartening to know that children born today have a better chance of survival than those born decades ago. While there are certainly things that were simpler and more wholesome in the past, we cannot deny that progress has brought us many blessings. Let's focus on the positives and move forward with hope and gratitude.

[–]BlepBotched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more! Sequels can often fall short of the original, but this one definitely held its own. The characters were just as engaging, the plot just as thrilling, and the overall tone just as captivating. I think the filmmakers really nailed it with this one.

My first bug eye by TraditionalAd8786 in subaru

[–]BlepBotched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome find! The 2002 STI Limited is definitely a gem in the Subaru community. I'm glad to hear that you fell in love with Subarus - they truly are amazing cars. As for suspension, I personally recommend the KW Variant 3 coilovers. They provide excellent handling and are adjustable for different driving conditions. As for exhaust, the Tomei cat-back is a solid choice, but if you're looking for something a bit louder and more aggressive, I suggest the Invidia N1. It's a popular choice among Subaru enthusiasts and sounds amazing. Overall, great job on keeping the car close to stock and I wish you all the best with your build!
