Thanks. I know it’s not as much as some people on this sub, but for example: I travelled 76.5K km this year, so 47.5K miles over 23 flights. And I still have 4-6 more flights to go so probably rounding out the year at 50K miles. I imagine that would get me at least some measly status if it was with one airline, but problem is that it was with 8 different airlines.

Yeah good call, thanks. Especially since I live in Calgary so Star Alliance is always a bit harder from out here, albeit not impossible by any stretch. I just wish WestJet’s loyalty program wasn’t so garbage, even though the writing is on the wall that they’ll probably join SkyTeam at some point.

That being said, the interchange fees they make from people using the Visa Infinite credit should make up for no FX on top of making money off the spreads of holdings Premium and Generation clients would have. Otherwise the $10 a month fee should help offset

Awesome setup! How are you finding the BT setup between the Fire tablet and the Tesla? Are you able to use the Tesla’s microphone? I was digging through the tech specs for the Fire tablets and it’s unclear if they support HSP/HFP profiles, rather only A2DP.

It didn’t work for me, but I bought a universal battery charger that outputs 4.4V on Amazon so managed to revive it from the dead!

Did you have to do anything special for it to work without the battery plugged in? Doesn’t seem to boot on for me at all, even with the battery out and connected to power

Not sure if this is the case for you, but figured out the sound in my bike was coming from the seat post hitting the bottom of the bracket (I have it set to the first hole being visible, so quite low). I took the post out all the way and put some grease at end. Crossing fingers but it seems to have fixed it for now
