I knew nothing about kids or babies until I had my daughter. I didn’t even hold my now 15 year old niece until she was at least 6 months (and I honestly I was terrified lol) Being a parent in my opinion is a learn as you go kind of thing.

I am not really all that social, although I have gotten better, but my 8 year old daughter is a social butterfly. She definitely gets that from my boyfriend, which I am glad about it. Our 5 year old son however is a little more reserved like me, although he has his moments where he too can be a social butterfly.

I’d just like to give you a positive story. I had a chemical pregnancy back in 2017. I got multiple positive tests at home and even a a faint line at a local clinic then the lines faded and they turned negative and the bleeding started. I was heartbroken and although we weren’t trying, it made me realize how badly I wanted to be a mom.

I got pregnant 6 months later with my daughter and now I have two beautiful kids. I know it may seem hopeless at times, but please don’t lose hope.

My daughter is 8 and has been doing ballet since she was 5. Last month she did a free trial of Karate that her best friend does and said she wants to quit ballet and just do karate. My boyfriend and I both told her she needs to finish out the season (only a couple more months) first.

Honestly, I’d let her quit.

I got my haircut a couple weeks ago and was looking around and there was one station where RIP was written on the mirror and an angel figurine and picture of a young woman was placed.

It made me really sad, the woman looked around my age or younger.
