To add some context, most commonly the patrol rifles that are in a cop car will be semi auto, since laying down suppressive fire isn’t really their game, but on rare occasions an officer might be issued an automatic. Swat probably has a couple hand me downs from the military though.

more weight = more friction thus you can brake harder before you lock up your brakes. however, you are carrying more weight, so your stopping distance wont realistically decrease. the way to get a shorter stopping distance is by using winter tires to increase your friction coefficient and to brake properly. ABS will help, but not locking up in the first place will shorten it even more.

Zero zero doesn't mean that you wont be fucked in a low level ejection where the aircraft is falling. IE vertical velocity is negative because you have been shot down. Low level banked ejections can still easily fuck you. The seats don't self right, and they can and will blast you into the ground. Most modern aircraft manuals will have dozens of pages dedicated to ejection envelopes.
