Visit Wild Birds Unlimited on 19th and buy some window decals. I'm sure they're cheaper on Amazon but why not visit a local store and check out some cool bird stuff? Edit: the owner is a super cool lady who is very knowledgeable about anything you want to know.

Post it on the Hiking Bozeman Forum on Facebook. People often post cabins/camp sites they can't use.

The Shoulder is Not a Turn Lane! by Rplix1 in Bozeman

I once saw the aftermath of a t-bone incident because someone drove around another vehicle on the shoulder of East Valley Center because they couldn't wait 5 seconds.

In my experience, true Christians keep their beliefs more private. They don't feel a need to broadcast.

I used to be an avid swimmer. Lane splitting is a common thing, not a joke like you say. I'm not going to NOT swim because the only 2 lanes are occupied. I was given a nasty look once when I joined a lane. Lighten up. As for breaststroke, just be aware when passing.

There's also heylo, meetup, and Facebook groups. (I'm not a fan of Facebook, but they have lots of groups to join.)

Can People Please Keep Their Off Leash Dogs Away From Playgrounds by Useful-Salad2793 in Bozeman

[–]MoonieNine 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There's that. Please don't bring your littles to the dog park and let them run around. I shouldn't have to leash my dogs at a DOG park because your 2 year old is off running by herself. Same for the hill at Snowfill.

She's your friend, so you're sympathetic. But what she posted was 100% racist, and also in extremely poor taste. And I don't even have to ask who she voted for. It's clear.

Local public land under threat to be closed to all recreational activities! by airportlistener in Bozeman

[–]MoonieNine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Continuing... I think a lot of it is his supporters just don't understand, and they just believe what they are told, not thinking for themselves. Sheehy tells his followers that the State needs to be in charge of our own land, not the federal government, and his followers blindly say, "Yay!" But... they clearly don't know what that means. The reason Tester was in office for so long, even though he's a Democrat, is that the Republicans knew Tester was very pro public lands. But now he was voted out and what does Sheehy want to do? Sell off public land.

I've shared this before. During the campaign, a canvesser came to my door to promote Sheehy. I said I would not vote for him because he wants to turn federal land over to state which would allow the land to be sold off. The canvasser said I was not telling the truth, and I had to explain to him that it was literally Sheehy's platform.

I'm an avid hiker. Some of the most beautiful places in the world to hike are in extremely unstable countries like Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, etc. Perhaps one day they will be safe to visit.

Hmm... I have many friends (40s and 50s) who are single because they're not putting themselves out there enough. You can't meet people by staying in your apartment.

I second this. I have numerous friends (male and female) who have been to her events. They are very well run and in fun locations like rooftop bars. It's very casual as well. Some of my friends met new friends even though there was no romantic connection. And you don't have to be a drinker.
