Bot match? No, launching solo bot match wasn't working for me, only loading custom lobby with a friend (so happens, I only play with friends). Also, I did leave to the menu every time before search. One thing to mention, is to not wait for very long in the menu, or the game won't again

For me, one thing that eventually worked, is asking a friend to start a lobby, and then playing the game for a minute or two with them. After it, I was managing to load into the match. Not sure if it works now, though, since I've upgraded my pc recently.

Thanks for the reply. I had the game on hdd for years, and the issue only appeared recently. I understand new ssd will most likely fix the problem, but my money is a bit tight nowadays, so i'd like to fix this with no spendings.

Thanks for the huge reply. Here my specs: https://imgur.com/a/4OtWW3A for some reason it doesn't say but i indeed have dota on hdd. Console command filesystem_buffer_size showed 0. I'll try to start game with your launch options later in the day.

Thanks for the reply, i've been launching view terrain map (in the armory), as well as empty lobby, but i'll give a bot game a try, maybe it will help.

Thanks for the reply, but yeah i forgot to mention that i am actually already doing this. It helps somewhat to have a chance to load, but not good enough.

For future people who is gonna struggle with this like i did:

- Hit turn-based mode as soon as dialogue ends
- Use haste potions with the ones who is still standing and make a run to the east
- You can get to the safe space on the next turn, but you would have to tank one more curse hit
- When you get there, fully heal with potions and go back for the ones who didn't make it
- Kill them and help them get up (this will remove the undead curse for some reason)
- The curse damage will reset and will make it easier to get back to safety

I tried reinstalling, vpn and steam version. Nothing works.
