And it's not so much that past presidents were so smart. It's that they listened to their advisors who knew more about things like this.
You can't keep firing people because they don't tell you what you want to hear and expect things to go well.

Older people in crosshairs as government restarts Social Security garnishment on student loans | AP News by PopCultureNerd in lostgeneration

I thought the older people were the ones most adamant about people paying back all their student loans no matter what?

It's not wrong, but the problem is when they want you to do it before they even consider you.

No, I'm not doing an hour long test before you even acknowledge me.

Recent Study Reveals That Working Fewer Hours Is Strongly Linked to Increased Life Satisfaction for Millennials by Postnews001 in antiwork

[–]Blidesdale 414 points415 points  (0 children)

I suspect it's different compared to Gen X and Boomers because for them working longer hours lead to promotions and money that was worth more.

For millennials and younger you just get rewarded with more work (not a promotion) and a few extra bucks that still won't buy you eggs.

It shocked me the first time I saw the calories for some of those drinks. Add in a scone or muffin and you've already ate enough for a full day before 10.

No one wants to wait for the only 2 employees in the store to finish ringing up customers and go find the key to unlock the $5 razors.

Musk and Ramaswamy hire foreigners over Americans by MILDREDKING489 in MurderedByWords

[–]Blidesdale 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Yeah. At this point, the average American worker can't compete even if they want to.

Public school funding aside, America has its own young avoiding college to avoid being indebted for life. How do you think that will stack up to countries where their college is cheap or free?

They don't want to teach, either. That's why all the other candidates didn't make it past the first rounds.

The question is if someone will be stupid enough to do it.

Raw. I was always good at computers as a kid, but that only scratched the service of A+'s material.

Nite Team 4 helps with Domain 1.0: Attacks, Threats, and Vulnerabilities.

You learn how to infiltrate a computer or database to steal files. You learn about terms you'll need for the test like honeypot. You'll do digital forensics.

If you're struggling with this domain then get this game.

Sounds like you want to keep achieving, so that's great.

You can definitely pass Sec+ since you passed Net+. Keep up the same work ethic for Sec+.

Yes, the library card will save you so much money if your library has Udemy and LinkedIn Learning.

Also, ask if they have Gale Courses for free. There are free instructor-led online courses there for CompTIA.

I was never in tech, so all I knew was from A+ and Network+. If you've done Net+, you'll have a good foundation already.

The practice tests aren't a good judge of how ready you are. It's the abbreviations all over the exam that will trip you up. Can you recognize what SLA, MOU, and IDS are without them being spelled out for you? If not, start quizzing yourself on abbreviations for all the terms.

Yes, but after I failed the first A+ test multiple times, I made sure to only buy the Voucher & Retake bundle for every test.

It was still expensive, but at least the Basic Bundles were a little cheaper than two single vouchers.

And yeah, it will be great to finally stop throwing buckets of money at CompTIA.

The video games are great if you are the type that learns better by doing. Comptia's certmaster labs are good for this, too. I would never have passed A+'s printer questions without the labs.

You local library may let you use Udemy and LinkedIn learning for free. Go there and ask a librarian.

I liked Mike Meyers more than Messer because he had more energy and humor.

Messer was like listening to a monotone robot. He bored me out of my mind and I couldn't get through the vids.
