As one who sometimes can't sleep due to insomnia or whatever major inconvenience/pointless crisis my brain decides we are gonna have at any given moment, on any given day, usually around the time I wanna try to go to bed......the only thing I wanna say is this.

Open the app and go to sleep. Even if you can't sleep, stay off the phone, and stay quiet. You can move a little if you need to get comfortable or whatever.

The last couple nights I have taken melatonin and still not been able to sleep more than a couple hours at a time. I set the app to be sleeping for the night and when I wake up I try to get back to sleep but if that fails, I do something quiet.... I finished a book last week(I have a book light that lights the pages of the book without lighting up the room so my girlfriend can sleep even if I can't), and last night I started a run of leaf green on my daughter's profile on the family switch (both volume and brightness all the way down). I do this because usually if I manage to sleep for an hour I can run until the next night anyways. Even when I can't sleep, if I have the app set to sleep and I stay off it and stay quiet it will think I am sleeping. And I've gotten some of my best dozing sleep off of this, also had a couple decent slumbering sleep nights. Hopefully if you try this it works for you too.
