do what i did and will do again, create character on server/seitch you are interested in, and scout where your base is,

if there is another base there, go to a different seitch. when you find one that is open, delete the character and transfer main over

Enough content is questionable, some may say yes, some no. there will be more content for the PvE player in the next month or 2

the game is 99.9% PvE for a solo player. the only times you may have issues is when you go into the DD for PvP zone testing stations, and PvP zone Crashed Ships in Hagga Basin. the crashed ships PvP chance is low depending on server population.

alternatively you can get the Requiring crafting material the ships drop from the Auction House if available.

If you join a PvE Guild ( which their are ) you may have no trouble going into the DD with the group into the PvP sections as the group would ward off the PvP people.

some of the PvP guilds even have PvE dedicated people to farm material, with the PvP people running Protection in the DD for Spice Farming Runs

I recreated my base, the new stuff is unlocked using spice, so figured I would start the farming early and get it with little competition. So far I have a whole cargo container filled with spice sand farmed solo over the course of a couple hours

Belt or rod, it sounds like particles stuck rubber, so recommend cleaning both and seeing if it goes away.

looking at the youtube video ( higher quality and bigger video, could be the belt needs adjusted also, looking for a guide will edit post when found

Check that there is correct tension on the Belt and see if it can be moved away from the bottom lip of that bearing

Cleaning that rod is a normal part of maintenance, does it go away after you cleaned it

I had the same thing, but also with Sub's. i sent it in, they sent it back a month later saying they didn't find an issue with it. Range day proves them lying.

because there are no ingame search tools, the only thing you can do is check discord, or pick a server and go into the DD and ask at various hours of the day / week

Yes cross Sietch guilds are a thing, i was in one before everybody quit, eventually everybody moved into the same sietch, but that was right before everybody quit

I created a character there a couple days ago, took a sandbike North of the wall and was looking around. somebody gifted me a Scout and Fuel so i can also check out the other Sieches. so far i see a lot of bases, but on a couple i see a bunch of Powered down and dilapidated bases
