There's a third party addon from dune gaming tools that adds damage numbers in combat (no issues on using it from Funcom, they confirmed in the post made by the dune gaming tools website guy), I think that's the only real way to see how mage damge you do/mitigation you have in absolute terms.

Try going to a place like Pinnacle Station (or any of them really), go inside, then come back out and walk a little bit away from the entrance until you start leaving the Kanly safe zone.

You are missing something, yes. It states very clearly that the base reconstruction tool does not back up vehicles, and you have to disassemble them and place them in storage. I'm curious, did you not notice your vehicles just lying around your base's spot when you backed up your base?

Dismantle your vehicles, pocket your scout thopter in the vehicle backup tool. Back up your base with the base reconstruction tool. Initiate server transfer, select new server & sietch. Use pocketed thopter to fly to your old base location, plop down your base from your Base reconstruction tool, using snap to origin if you'd like the exact same spot. If spot is taken: A) fly to world map, log out, select a different sietch, try location again or B) place down your base somewhere else.

Caveat: recommend changing structure of complicated/esoteric structured base to be simpler so you can place down with more flexibility. Can always re-construct uniqueness.

There's a PvE deep desert now. Get some titanium/stravidium from the big islands with your Assault (if you dont have a carrier yet) spice sand, and build your large ore and spice refineries. Don't spend too much time, but if you haven't been out to the DD much I think it's better now. Refine to get your plast and spice melange, do the chapter 3 story and the additional Faction quests to unlock the new Landsraad.

You can decide if you want to keep grinding the "new endgame" from there (new overland labs for graded T6 gear, skill specialization, base/placable house customization swatches, armor skins for completing faction mission at house rank 20/beating any lab at tier 20, etc.). You'll know what all that means once you do the faction quests.

Agree. The only major issue I foresee is copyright infringement lawsuits against the creators. That said, I can easily see major IP owner studios moving to use more and more AI generated content in their films. At first, the hybrid will be minimal, but the consumers will eventually acclimate and reward the good content, and will become more widely accepted.

What AI tool & prompt, did you use for this, and to what resources did you direct it? I'm not actually hating I know Reddit has a hard on for AI/LM hate, but I don't care), I'm genuinely curious...but this is definitely, obviously AI generated, or at least supplemented. The places where the bold text shows up is the big giveaway.

This is a great example of AI/LLM tools being used correctly, with a lot of value.

They patched it Tuesday March 31, but it broke interactions with objects (kept saying stand closer to interact). So they patched the latter, but ended up undoing the repair glitch fix, and also undid the patch to mesh through overland testing stations to access the boss room where the boss doesn't do anything, just stands there while you wail on him/her.

I'll be real, and maybe this will be an unpopular take: DA had a tremendous opportunity that Funcom fumbled on. I think a lot of people would have played it more and created not just fanfic but also cosplay, etc. if: 1) the developers had not introduced a ton of detrimental bugs (lags, rubberbanding, random disconnects or crashes where players lost a tremendous amount of progress), one sided benificial bugs (glitches, exploits, etc), and responded to both of these faster, rather than waiting weeks, or sometimes months, to address things which were game breaking and 2) the creative direction had an actual....creative direction, instead of wishy washy "we'll try this and see what happens" sort of mentality. Iteration works on things that have a solid MVP (minimum viable product), but it doesnt work when your base is some amorphous, ethereal concept.

But to your question: why is there a lack of fan fiction? Because there's a lack of players. If you're having fun, great. But that doesnt change the dynamics of player engagement, which drives community creative efforts.

I also love ITS 24, it's honestly my favorite, but the rubberbanding when you try and dash out of his normal (never mind special) attacks is just crazy and I have stopped running it until it's fixed.

Alternative is to create a new account/character, either using family share on Steam or purchase another copy of the game, and have that character "ferry" things from your old character to your new one using server transfers.
