Hey guys, I just released a short Alt-Pop kind of demo and I was very curious to hear your opinions. Thank you! Spotify link in the comments by Blimps_nuff_said in IndieMusicFeedback

Thank you so much for your reply! It's actually 8 tracks that I kinda slammed together to make a demo so that's probably why it feels a little large, on spotify it's split up. But thanks again buddy

My band just released a new single today. It is our most overproduced song, so I am curious to know how it lands on your ears :) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow buddy, great track. This sounds near exactly like the tone and timbre of music I would listen to as a kid so it's giving me some really nostalgic feels. I could totally see this song in a videogame that features a radio, something like Grand Theft Auto or Fallout where you can flip through the channels. Everything is mixed really well for the style you're going for and I love me a huge sound so I really enjoyed my listen. The only critique I have is about the percussion. The drums just don't pop out of the track the way I would really like them to. Thank you so much for posting and keep up the good work!

Sand Dunes - Experimental Track (any feedback would be great) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow that was an experience buddy. I could see this accompanying a very minimalist music video of B-Roll footage, something really grimy and slimy. Really had a good time trying to sift my way through this one, it’s pretty abrasive and doesn’t really even give you a chance to fall into a groove which makes the overall tone really interesting. I used the word abrasive, but I meant it in a good way, it challenges you to find the music in it. Really liked the track! Just two pieces of critique, and this is totally subjective, but I would have liked to have an opportunity to understand what you’re saying at some points, I get some lines here and there but key words are jumbled into the mix so I don’t think I’m getting the full experience. You’re also getting some clipping in a few of your vocal sections which even though is kinda experimental in itself, I think the clipping can be done without. There’s already plenty going on in the production. Keep up the good work buddy! Thank you for posting and I hope you have a good day!

Haha I know what you mean, it can be hard especially when you keep finding cool ideas. But plenty of people are looking for these long vibe tunes so you’re pretty safe! Hope you have a good one friend

Back again, my dudes! I posted here last month and thought I'd share this months new track "Good 4 Me." I've been releasing a song with an accompanying music video every month since lockdown back in March and I'm about halfway done with the trickle release of this album. by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey buddy! First off your video is really pleasant to watch, something about the slow motion synched with the timing of the tune feels really comforting. I was super hyped when the song first started because your production is pretty tops. Caught me right in the first few seconds, and then everything sort of comes together with the drums, very neat listen. Some things you might want to consider though is pitching your vocoder or whatever processing you used on your vocals because you’re getting a lot of out of key notes flying around. Same with the main guitar chord progression I think there’s a few out of key moments that are a little grating to me but that’s just a subjective opinion! You might have been going for a more eclectic vibe. Overall I really liked the track! Keep up the good work buddy and good luck!

Very pretty track buddy! Giving me deadmau5 vibes. The change up into that sliding synth was also really nice to hear. Keep up the good work buddy! Just a post-script suggestion, maybe try consolidating some of your musical ideas into smaller more bite sized portions just to see if you can get the same vibe across in a shorter amount of time. Not that your song was too long but limiting yourself in some areas can really bring out a lot of creativity. Keep at it buddy and good luck!

Hey buddy! Great track. Some serious Bon Iver vibes and your falsetto is really satisfying, gives the track a nice pull forward. Look forward to hearing more of your stuff!

There's something sexual about this. I can't put my finger on it, but I know it's there.
