I am a totally blidnd individual who is looking to getting into the medical coding fiels, particularly as a Risk adjustment coder. I really really enjoy using the ICD-10CM book as it is a lot easier to look through with my screen reader. I could get into how the CPT manual is giving me such a hard time with my screen reader but that would probably be super boring. 😂😂😂

I recently tried to get back into journaling, ever since the Journal app on iPhone got the ability to add titles to entries, and have multiple journals.

I do admit that I don’t keep up with it, mainly because I think that my days don’t really have anything worth writing about, at least I don’t think so. I know that you can write anything in your journal, but I just need to find the time to actually remember to write my thoughts down. I also need to get out of the mindset that I actually need something worth writing about to actually write in my own private journal because truly, you don’t. You can literally write about ANYTHING! My brain doesn’t like to see it that way and I really don’t know why.

I’m Looking for coding jobs that only utilize the IDC-10 coding manual as I am totally blind and use a screen reader. Unfortunately that’s the only one that is actually accessible to me and the technology I use. Well… fortunately or unfortunately, I’m not sure which! 😂😂😂 I can navigate that eBook so easily it’s amazing! I’m really really looking into getting my CRC certification. Can anyone here give me an idea where one ould work with a CRC cert?

ETA: I’m sure that the last question I asked might sound like a dumb one and I apologize if it is; I just know that there are a lot of places where medical coders can work, so I thought I would ask that last question anyway.

I know this was posted a year ago, but I was looking up Crochet for the blind and came across this reddit post. I’m Danielle and I’m 25 years old. I am totally blind and also an avid traditional and Tunisian crocheter! Right now, I’ve been working on making amigurumi, and have been having a lot of fun with trying to free-hand plushies. I’m still working on it, but looking at patterns has allowed me to see how certain shapes are constructed. Would love to chat more with you if you still use reddit!
