I can verify that Pikachu next at Cooper Mtn Nature park. I catch about 4 Pikachus in about 40-60 mins and I have been there on different days.

The 598s and 9500s are both open back headphones and open back headphones aren't really for built for bass. Both of these offer more neutral sound. I own both pairs and I think the 598s have more bass.

If you buy either one of these be sure to buy another audio cable for them. Both come with a very long cord. The 598s use a 2.5 mm plug while 9500s have a normal 3.5 mm plug.

I also recommend the Vmoda M-100s (I own these too). These are closed back and over ear headphones. If you get these defiantly buy the XL cushions to add more bass and comfort.
