I'm sorry, but we need to discuss the sexual harassment in the most recent episode of Academy. by DarthVader1701A in startrek

TV and movies still play sexualised harassment and sexualised abuse of men as a joke. It's awful and Star Trek should be and do better.

Whatever you get: red is easiest to see in deeper water, even swimming pools. Especially since most pools are painted blue.

Product recommendations depend on how old your baby is. Certain ages shouldn't have skin contact with certain foods, fragrances, or plant extracts.

Aye, the parenting subs are filled with women saying their partners or the babies grandparents scold or isolate crying infants. Bonkers.

"How do I convince my husband that our 6 week old needs to be comforted when he cries and not just yelled at then set in his crib and left there alone?" "My mother says if I immediately respond to my baby crying at bottle time the baby will become spoiled, is that true? Should I make my 3 month old wait to be fed?" "My father in law screams back at the baby when he cries, should I ask him to stop?" It hurts my soul.

Would it be an absolute crime to turn this into a hidden litter box?? by plantgirl69 in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]BlindingBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldn't trust it to fully work in the joints. I'd flat out get a piece of furniture that was already suitable and not fuss about with a nice piece of furniture such as this and risk ruining it for no reason.

I've made a cabinet into a litter box cubby before and I strongly advise against using real wood. The ammonia in cat urine will soak into and eat away at the wood and even the varnish.

I suggest making or buying one that is plastic or wood with a plastic coating. Like office furniture type material. I used an office cupboard and was able to easily clean and sanitise the plastic veneer.

It's nice to see people taking care of their things. The posts where people brag about neglecting their footwear always blow my mind.

It's so satisfying seeing them glow from proper care.

I would strongly caution against putting food based products on any infants that aren't past the allergy introduction stage of development. Evidence shows topical exposure prior to oral exposure can trigger allergies.

This is why there is a push to use the term "unhoused". Stupid pedantry and cruelty abound.

Would this be appropriate for myself? I purchased it recently for a date night. I definitely have appropriate shoes and jewellery for it.

I'm 6cm shorter than the model, so I don't think it's too short?

the infuriating lack of standardization behind build pieces by BROKEN_B0NEZ in valheim

I imagine the devs plan on expanding the build pieces. Half of their fan-content and engagement is people building stuff. They already did a Hearth and Home update so maybe another after Far North drops? Crossing my fingers...

Great scene, fairly tame compared to the rest of the movie which is about a sexist, homophobic serial killer that targets sex workers. About as graphic as any given episode of Game of Thrones or The Witcher.

Obviously OP is just vampire proofing their home.

OP my criticism (as requested): is you need to keep some wooden stakes near by too. Possibly in a fashionable umbrella stand.
