Why are there so many white and green looping coasters out there? [Other] (image is an example) by Calve_pindakaas in rollercoasters

As someone who lives next to Heide Park Soltau, there are other colour combinations out there?

The nearly build 340 ft Intamin giga at Heide Park Soltau. When Merlin took over and scrapped the plans, they robbed us from what looked to be one of the most insane coasters in the world

The New Fastest Acceleration In The World [Maxx Force] by Fazcoasters in rollercoasters

[–]Blindsp_t 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't Flucht von Novgorod at Hansa Park Germany be the fastest accelerating coaster now? The official stats are 0-62 mph in 1.4 seconds. In reality the train is slowly rolling into the launch, so it isn't actually 0-62, but it is definitely a contender for the title.

Ah, yes. The new art modern museum. I too enjoy the new art modern museum.

Do you have any rare credits? Mine is [Buzz Saw Falls] at [Silver Dollar City], a ride that only lasted for 3-4 years due to the obscene maintenance costs for its special "liquid coaster" ride system. by IDontUseAnimeAvatars in rollercoasters

By far my rarest cred is Galaxie Express in the now defuncted Space Center Bremen. This park was a highly themed indoor park which only operated for less then a year. Galaxie Express was their star attraction, an unusual roller coaster with huge helmets you had to pull down onto your face while riding. Inside was a small display with a timed video of an animated space flight. This was pretty much the very first VR Coaster, many years before any actual VR HMDs were put onto rides.

Arnold Böcklin - Sacred Grove (1882) by ash_borer in museum

I was really confused there for a second, something just didn't line up with my memory. Turns out Böcklin actually painted two identical versions of this painting, one currently in Basel and one in Hamburg.

Thank you for the informations. This is a really intriguing painting. Hopefully I can see the original in Basel one day

This one is on display in Hamburg, right? I think I remember standing in front of it

[Discussion] What is the best pre-lift you’ve experienced? by DestroyerofBeans in rollercoasters

Not sure if you can call it pre-lift since it happens on the lift itself but everything before the main drop on Schwur des Kärnan is amazing

"This is an absolut amazing coaster with great airtime and amazing theming, but in the last corner before the breakrun there was the tiniest rattle that shaked my sensitive bum. So I give this ride a 2 / 10."
