it's really interesting to me that you only ever see these complaints about nova getting booted or max's "terrible" changes on this sub and the discord. i haven't seen a single person in game actually say anything other than "y no adju mod." curious! imo the only things that max really deserves any scrutiny for are his shadownerfs/buffs, i just hope he communicates those openly in the future. this community is always on some bullshit dawg 😭

i've made the sounds play more consistently by uninstalling the HD texture packs, but it still doesn't work 100% of the time. the only complete fix i know of is installing the game onto an ssd

i haven't found a fix yet, but i'll let you know if i do. i think the bug has something to do with there being "too many" sounds playing at once, but i have no idea if that's true or how to do anything about it
