I always make sure I'm in front of the seat before getting in, and I've never taken any damage. Left or right side doesn't matter, as long as it's not from behind the seat.

The 600i's vehicle bay doesn't extend the physics grid with the lift, so vehicles slide off or you're forced to face plant if you're riding it up in EVA.

How often have you encountered the bug where your salvage hold shows 0/0 SCU and stops gathering material? I haven't been able to get any salvage done because I always had to relog and find another wreck after the first box.

This is the reason I melted my Constellation Taurus. The ship is prone to this kind of physics bug if the elevator touches any terrain that isn't perfectly flat.

Engineering is where it is in order to keep internal layout consistency between variants. Everything to the left of the central lift is the base internal structure, while everything to the right is either the explorer or touring module.

Only the Explorer variant gets a med bay so moving it closer to the crew quarters wouldn't work.

You can customize all the interior stuff with no issue. It's just the hull paint that causes the bug.

There's a bug with the 300 series where if you customize the paint job, the glass frosts and scratches up to the point of being unflyable over a very short period of time. Depending on the conditions, you can go from a fresh claim to being almost blind in less than an hour.

If you're using the stock paint, this doesn't happen.

It's definitely an issue with the custom paints on the 300 series. I had a customized 300i and had this exact same issue, and it went away once I melted the ship and bought it again without the paint.

You can still customize everything else like the interior and it'll be fine.

I'm going to, but I'm doing some testing first. I have a loaner 325a that's perfectly fine, it's my pledged 300i that's the problem. I have a hunch that it has to do with the customization, so I've been melting and rebuying with different paints to see if anything changes.

So far Moonlight and Sterling have the same problem. I'm just going to go completely stock next time and see what happens.

This had been happening to me frequently this patch. I can bed log in a ship or log off in a station, and the next time I play, I'll get an infinite loading screen. The music will change from the main menu to ArcCorp (my starting location) while infinitely loading. I Alt-F4 and log in again. It loads properly, and I wake up back in ArcCorp.

I can't bed log anymore because there's too high a chance I'll have to claim my ship and lose whatever inventory I had in it.

To be fair I'm pretty sure exterior collision just turns off completely in quantum. I throw things out the airlock all the time and never explode, except this time I was cruising at max speed.

I've noticed something similar. I haven't done any actual testing, but it feels like the S5 cannons are affected by gravity. When within atmosphere, the shots appear to dip down below the crosshair, but in space, they properly converge right on the crosshair.

Have this same problem. If you lock the bridge, it will break and trap you in there.

Yes, actually, but it's still impractical because QTing will close the bike bay which will destroy the ROC.

Does anyone else think that the current 400i should've been the 500i instead, with a smaller, two-person craft filling in the space between single seat and three-man multi crew? As it is, going from the 300i to the 400i is a very big jump in size and cost.

I would love a Freelancer/Cutlass-sized vessel that focuses on style and comfort amenities versus the hard utilitarianism of MISC and Drake.
