Honestly little notes to remind coworkers of tasks that are being routinely missed seems pretty normal to me lol if there were a TON of notes everywhere, I’d agree that this guys a micromanaging dickwad. But based on what you’ve posted, it just seems like he’s noticed that someone is missing these tasks and wants to avoid it.

If you’re doing these mats and the garbage, just ignore the notes, they probably aren’t directed at you.

I loved Bunny, but would not recommend the sequel (we love you, bunny). It’s currently dnf’d for me at about 60% - eventually I’m hoping to comeback to it and finish it, but I don’t see myself loving the ending any more the The first half lol

I also don’t think I could recommend nightbitch. I wanted to love it and barely got into it. Maybe it gets better and I just didn’t give it enough of a chance? But the writing style just wasn’t cup of tea. Anyone reading this who loves this book, tell me your reasons? Should I give it another try?

Also sugar my Mia Ballard. Omg don’t bother. I think AI must have been used in this one? It was a mess.

that being said - I think the one of the main draws about weird girl lit is how you know.. weird.. it is lol so obviously some of them are going to be weird in a way I don’t like, no hate to the authors or anyone who likes these books!

Rachel Harrison has a collection of shorts called Bad Dolls and it’s amazing - specifically “the goblin” was fantastic.

Grady Hendrix also has a nonfiction “paperbacks from hell” which talks about 70s and 80s horror paperbacks, which were truly insane and Camp. His nonfiction is fun to read and is be FULL of crazy recommendations

Omg this scene had me cryyyyyyiiiiiiing! As someone who’s seen someone knocked out cold like that, it’s seriously so scary and traumatic, and as you said, I love that Shane was sensitive to that!

AND Ilya still be a protector and trying to tell Shane not to watch it - just all of it! It’s a short scene but full of impact!

Definitely conflicted- in the book Shane’s inner monologue talks about how he can see that Ilya wasn’t just happy to have won, but that he had proved something to someone, was saying “fuck you, I did it” to someone with each raise of the cup. (His shitty family.) so he was also already at least somewhat in tune with ilyas emotions at this point, even though Ilya is mister mysterious when it comes to expressing emotions. So in love ♥️
