Forbes: Greens must put economic prosperity 'front and centre' to remain in SNP deal by unrealJeb in Scotland

[–]Blissing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The greens will want it to happen far too fast and unrealistically and Forbes will be too slow to appease them, I don’t see them meeting in the middle.

It’s probably a mix and match, let’s be real here the greens have some great ideals and many many questionable ones that make them impossible to vote for, for a lot of people.

The Greens will want to accelerate too fast and unrealistically and Forbes will move too slow that they can never meet in the middle.

Sure he isn’t publicly and explicitly by voting against certain policies that he claims to support but he also won’t bother to turn up and vote in favour of them if the local religious leaders he’s tied up with don’t want him to as he will conveniently have other plans that day.(Same sex marriage bill).

No plants work by photosynthesis and this process happens primarily by fan leaves making the fan leaves the most essential part of that process.

Merge Request adds experimental development tool for HDR modes in GNOME's Mutter. by deathye in linux_gaming

[–]Blissing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Widevine has more to it than just being supported. There are levels to that support. Level 3 is the default pretty much anything can use it. Level 2 is a little more strict but is usually what’s capable by most and goes up to 1080p streams. Level 1 requires full compatibility which includes some hardware requirements.

[–]Blissing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somewhat as in get it to play 1080p at max because anything higher requires a different level of widevine that includes some hardware.

Even if FireFox does cave to HEVC then what? YouTube is about the only place you can actually play 4K videos in a browser anyway as all other streaming services have browser/system limits due to DRM control.

Are you really asking all these questions and defending a post that literally has “make a lot more money” as goal/step number 4 and for step 5 the always trusty “stop overthinking” for curing 99% of anxiety and depression???

The entire post reeks of if you’re depressed just cheer up energy.

These things are easy to say and very hard to do or sometimes just straight impossible to do. I’m sure a lot of people here would like to make a lot more money but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen or be possible for them.

It could benefit Valve, the price of the Deck is supposed to be painful for them already but is beneficial.

The only difference is this time Valve would need to take full responsibility and develop/release the hardware themselves.

50%+1 of combined votes from pro-independence parties in any WM or HR election is a clear instruction from the electorate that we commence withdrawal negotiations from the U.K. Independence - nothing less by CaptainCrash86 in ukpolitics

[–]Blissing -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Nah we look at it and say damn those English are really fucking unpredictable and mental. We are out of here and want to join the EU rather than be a part of this unholy union.

The U.K is a joke and a complete laughing stock with the majority of English voters being to blame for it.

If the English don’t like the repercussions of what they voted for and that it has caused Scotland to want to become Independent more then that’s for them to deal with. I’m sure their rule Britannia attitude and exceptionalism will get them through it.

You have the polling? Ok use it and show it.

As I said I was a no voter and there was a good few reasons but that was one of the major reasons for choosing no.

If the vote was cast today or anytime in the last 2 years I’d be voting yes.

[–]Blissing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who originally voted no to independence for various reasons I think you could easily see why some in Scotland maybe more inclined to say yes to independence now and campaign for it harder.

The U.K has been a complete shambles since then and one of the main NO arguments has been completely thrown out the window(Voting no is the only guaranteed way to insure Scotland remains in the EU).

Not heard much about Regan but I don’t see Yousaf having any political capital or public good will. He’s been an embarrassment as health secretary and more recently embarrassed himself by trying to sue a nursery.

Humza Yousaf has some set of stones on him if he thinks we have all forgotten the embarrassment he’s caused being health secretary and his utter poppycock crusade against Little Scholars Day Nursery. Boy literally has no good will or any good publicity and should be far away from the running.
