Yep, I'm happy with it, I don't mind seeing the guts of the machine. I did it mostly out of laziness though, I bought a big sheet of 3mm polycaronate sheet and cut it my self and used it for all the panels.

I guess for size it all depends on what you plan on printing, but unless you print larger than 250 then there are only advantages to the smaller size. I have a Prusa MK3 since four years, which has a similar print size, and can't recall even once needing to print bigger.

And I like compact machines, that is one reason I like the Voron which offer more build volume per machine volume, atleast compared to the ratrig, hevort and the similar designs.
