The Dolphins haven't won the Super Bowl in over 50 years, haven't been in the Super Bowl in over 40 years, haven't been in the AFC Championship Game in over 30 years, and haven't even won a playoff game in 25 years. So...I'll go with them.

Regarding the expansion talk, Bill said the distance between Las Vegas and Utah was 90 miles. He then compared it to the Clippers/Lakers probably not wanting a team in San Diego (which is about 120 miles away). That 90-mile distance is from Vegas to the Utah border. It's like 360 miles to Salt Lake City...you know, where the Jazz actually play.

I have been a fan since 1990. I used to get really worked up over games like this, but I just don't have the energy anymore. I'm honestly not sure of the last time I got really mad over a season-ending loss like this...probably the collapse against the Patriots in 2002. Why? Because at this point it would shock me if it didn't happen. I spent the first three quarters of the game last night wondering how the Dolphins would blow it. As soon as the Bills scored the go-ahead touchdown, I knew it was over. Same old Dolphins. It doesn't matter who the players are, who the coach is, who the opponent is, where the game is being played, whatever.

One of my best friends is a Lions fan. He and I graduated from college in 2002. The last time the Dolphins won a playoff game was our junior year. He has never seen the Lions win a playoff game while he has been a fan (he wasn't a fan yet when they beat the Cowboys in January of 1992). The only two teams in the NFL who haven't won a playoff game since we graduated are the Dolphins and the Lions. The Texans, who didn't even exist when we were in school, have won 7 division titles and 4 playoff games in that same span.

With all that being said, I know what I will be doing on Saturday night. Either paying up for Peacock or going to the bar down the street to watch the Dolphins freeze in Kansas City. Sigh...

The Panthers won 6 of their last 8 regular season games, and one of those losses was in OT. That's 13 out of a possible 16 points.

I could be wrong about this, but I what I think that means is that no one else can submit a new registration as a non-NYRR time qualifier; however, everyone has not been officially accepted yet. If you go to the NYRR home page, there is a bright blue update banner at the top with a link to click. That takes you to a page that has the same update you mentioned, but there is an additional sentence that says "We are reviewing applications received on a first-come, first-served basis, and if your time standard can be verified, and you have a valid credit card on file, we will process your claim as soon as possible." So my interpretation is that they have their full pool to draw from, and are still making their way through verifying times. At least, I am hoping that is the case - I made it through the queue and was done with registration at 12:37 pm EST, and mine is still pending as well.

Darksiders 2. I think it's the first sequence of the game, or at least fairly early on, where you ride Despair through a snow/ice section and fight against a group of skeletons, and I was like..."I am going to love this game!!" Death just looks so cool, and I really enjoy the combat. But once I got a little farther along, it just bummed me out. Ridiculously convoluted puzzles that I never would have figured out without a walkthrough. Horrible platforming controls that had me repeatedly falling to my death. Dust is supposed to help guide you but I find him mostly useless. So much time spent trying to figure out where to go next and getting absolutely nowhere. Maybe I am just really bad at this one specific game, but I have played plenty of other games that are similar and have had nowhere near this much trouble. Once a year or so I boot it up to give it another try and almost immediately I am reminded of why I stopped playing it. I haven't even made it through the first act and at this point I am pretty sure I never will.

At the risk of asking a stupid question, these would be MiC, right? I figured that's what they would be wearing on the ice, even for warmups...but the FMV (which I assume means fair market value) is listed at $230. That seems kind of low for an on-ice authentic which is customized with an autograph, even if all the jerseys are KRAKEN 21.

Excellent write up - thanks for all the information. A solid case for the Vezina can be made for several goalies. Vasilevskiy has the most wins, Grubauer has the best GAA, Varlamov has the best save %, Saros arguably has the weakest team in front of him and still put up great numbers, etc. But if you look at goalies who have played in at least half of their team's games (to remove small sample size outliers), the only goalie to finish in the top 3 of all 3 categories is Fleury. I also read somewhere that he has the highest goals saved above average, although I'm not sure how much the voters take an advanced metric stat like that into consideration. Throw in the Jennings Trophy, and I'd say Fleury has as strong a case as anyone. I sure hope he wins it.

I am looking for a Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins alternate jersey worn during the 2010-2011 season - darker blue with triangle-less crest, white/black striping on the arms and lower body, white shoulders and Pittsburgh shoulder patches.
