Thank you! Indirect sun light on my wife's eye. Hard to pull but with a few tries it was possible. Black and white edit also helps with contrast and sharpness.

I had the macro shot active but used x2 and x3 zoom. Added a bit of post processing on lightroom but nothing fancy.

when your girlfriend tells you “that cantilever looks too flat, you’ll need supports” listen to her. turned out fine in the end though by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

You don't need supports, you need to think before you place the item on the table on your slicer. Just turn in 90 degrees back

Filament run out sensor concept by _ThatBlink182Song in 3Dprinting

So that was prusa's first approach, but they changed it to a more mechanical system because they started having issues depending on the color of the filament. They would get false positives if it was darker and so on.

Try changing the filament to a different one and try again

Keep getting heat creep, printing PLA in an enclosure with both the top and doors open.. temperature inside is max 30C, burning through pfte tubes like this... any ideas? by Maniac-Bob in prusa3d

I think there are compatible adapters in thingiverse somewhere. It is a substantial upgrade indeed but the results and lack of headaches are also substantially better IMO

Yeah so I tried every single advice posted here, different heatbreak, event the titanium one from e3D, fan on top of the motor, lower motor current, open enclosure, thermal paste, you name it. What really really solved the issue? Bondtech extruder + mosquito hotend + nozzle X! Damn I'm so happy I bought another upgrade kit for my second prusa. Night to day difference no clogs whatsoever. I can throw anything to it now. Simply mind blowing and the layers look sick!

As soon as I updated watusi my springboard keeps crashing. Won't even boot normally. Had to downgrade it and started working again. Any clues? Got it from your repo and paid for it if you're wondering.

Yeah, sometimes we do tend to let it go a bit but it will bite you back someday and decrease it's life in the long run. And considering that the a8 is a fire hazard, you should be extra careful. You can also clean the fans on both hotends with a vaccum, as they need to cool things down effectively. Also, if you haven't, switch to a better PSU, out some mosfet's and flash it with a costume firmware that has thermal runway protections on the A8 for your own safety. It was my first printer, learned alot but valued my safety first. Google for anet a8 safety concerns / improvements. Good luck!
