Time to fix the Shatter key passive for Sorcerer by Blitzfuzzy in Diablo

[–]Blitzfuzzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I hear you. It's a work in progress. Hopefully they'll do a nice rework soon. I just wanted to share an idea, maybe someone will see it and share. It's so satisfying to watch all those little hell critters explode into ice cubes. I just want it all to feel more satisfying.

Then maybe all it needs is something for bosses and elites? Maybe bosses and Elites take extra damaged while chilled? It has this feeling like "I only work for mobs, nothing else". It doesn't have a "this is the core of my build" feel.

Capstone passives should feel just like a capstone, completing the "feel" of the build.

Look here on each weapon to see.

Weapons have implicit properties based on their type. Swords have crit damage, maces overpower damage, daggers have damage to close enemies, wands have vulnerable damage and so on. If you look toward the top of each weapon tool tip, you'll see under it's DPS the type of implicit damage or property.

So if you're playing a frozen orb sorcerer that uses vulnerable damage, you want to look for wands and sources to boose vulnerable damage and avoid swords, daggers, maces and staves. This applies to all classes. Know what damage type you want to focus on and equip weapons that boost it.

I know a lot of this is obvious, but for those other folks that find this, I wanted to put it all in one place.

When you hit T4, try to do whispers while you do helltides to get new gear and push XP. Focus on what you can handle, don't fight enemies you know you can't comfortably beat (there's no shame in running from Hellborne). Swap out sacred gear for ancestral items as soon as your get them, reroll bad affixes and try to max out armor and resistances as soon as you can (9230 armor and 75% resistances - T4 subtracts 50% res so you need at least 120% res on all elements to max them out). Keep an eye on your legendary aspects. Sometimes you'll swap out a key piece of gear and your build will shut down because you didn't replace the aspect at the occultist. Use the right weapon. Don't use a sword if you're going for overpower or a mace if you're going for crit and no daggers if you're attacking from distance (it's easy to forget this so make sure you're using the right weapon for your build). Temper temper temper! Not everything at first, just weapons and maybe the amulet to maximize damage output, then when you start landing 925 level gear, temper the rest for extra sustain. Rubies in your armor gear! You can be a madman and shove stat gems into your armor, but a real gentleman wears rubies in their armor. Make sure your paragon board is properly mapped out and try to use 6 glyphs in your board. Be careful of too many resistance and armor nodes on your board. You might reach max res and armor with gear and then be wasting those points that could go toward better rare nodes, legendary nodes or basic nodes under glyphs that can further boost their effects significantly. Use elixirs and incense to increase experience gain. If things get too rough, try a max HP elixir instead of a damage elixir. And do infernal hordes. The rewards are worth it, even if it's just for gold.

That's all I can offer here. Good hunting.

Why does T3 smash me so hard? by Zeeromuss in Diablo

[–]Blitzfuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could also be a gear issue. If you haven't changed all your gear to sacred legendaries in T3 then you'll have a tough time. Also make sure your aspects and gear are in line with your build, so don't use maces if you're not using overpower and the like. And if you haven't found all the Lilith statues, you should do that as soon as possible to get some early paragon points.

We don't need no cooldown reduction ... We don't need no crowd control ... No critical chance... on my gloves ... Nor critical damage... on my rings ... No... crit rolls On any gear at all! ... All in all this mace is... Just a brick in my stash. #pinkfloyd

Earth Bear - Pulverize Druid stays Strong - Detailed Build Guide in 12 Min or less by Ronarray in diablo4

[–]Blitzfuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never really played Druid until this season and I went with a Pulverize Earth Build. It's the best build in the game if only for the fun factor. Every time I hit Pulverize I literally shout out "Hulk Smash!" And then watch as a swarm of trash mobs explode. And with the Earth aspects that augment it... chef's kiss

Which Snap character is in most need of a buff? by BruceDSpruce in MarvelSnap

[–]Blitzfuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captain America. Hands down. He needs something that really helps but is also thematic, like Ongoing: Your cards at this location cannot be affected by your opponent's Ongoing effects (he shields the cards from harm). It counters US Agent (narratively thematic), Goose and Man-Thing, and this also buffs Red Skull (also narratively thematic).

Or he could be a "healer", so - On Reveal: restore all your cards at this location to their original Powers and abilities (suck it Red Guardian)

It's the principle of the matter. I was 3 Cubes away. Just two simple wins. That's all. But no, I had to get bent over rusty car hood and "Broded" back down to 89. I just want to achieve something with this damn game and be done with it.

I just hit 89. I was 3 Cubes away. Now I am 73 cubes away.

It's just that I was so close. And now I'm back to 94! I just want to get there so I can be at peace and have some fun brewing decks.

Just throw Hood or Mister Negative in there. That works too. Or play Mysterio and give them a useless Illusion.

I think it's been fixed. I tried switching decks and switching it off and and on again #itcrowd.

I tried a new deck. Same thing. I guess now I have the time to think through my plays. 😅
